1. indesign 16.0 - new bug - text-wrap with image not correct

   The values that are shown in the Text Wrap panel & also the Frame Fitting Options dialog for Crop amounts relate to the inherent image size, not to the size it appears within InDesign – that is, they refer to the image as though it were placed at 100% scale. That means it’s based on the image resolution and the scaling at which it is placed.
   To see how this works, when you place an image, just click on the document – it will come at its 100% scale. Now select the Image contents, open the Text Wrap panel, and input 30mm in one of the fields, the value will be correct. Now scale down the image contents to 50% of its size – now measure the text wrap – it will be roughly 15mm in size.

2. Find command highlights text in background

   > >In long INDD documents with text flowing from one page frame to another, the text often does not refresh properly when the page is turned. Using the Find command then often highlights text that is in the text story but is not visible on screen when highlighted by the Find command. The attached JPEG shows an example of the problem. The JPEG is a screenshot of an INDD page showing a Find for "Brown" but with random text highlighted at line 15. "Brown" is there, but it is in the background, and it cannot be selected, edited, etc. The only solution I have found is to select the text frame on the page, delete it, forcing a reflow through the remaining pages, then click the in port from the next page, load the cursor, then restore the text to the offending page. It will be correct on the restore. This works, but it is tedious, and does not correct what seems to be a bug in the app.> >

4. Hyperlink causing InDesign to crash

   We have released InDesign 2021(v16.0.0.77) with a lot of stability fixes. We recommend you upgrade to the latest version (if you’re not already on it) as it is more robust.

11. Autosize text boxes not refreshing

16. 2025 InDesign (v20.0) Frequent Crashing on MacOS 15.0.1 Sequoia

    Hi,
    This issue was present in an earlier version of InDesign. Please confirm if you are facing this bug with InDesign version 14.0.2

    If you face the issue with the latest version then please share a sample document at amaarora@adobe.com with which we can reproduce the issue in-house.

20. Clicking document-installed font from font list gives error to "activate font" and doesn't change font.

    Hello All,

    Thank you for your patience all this while.
    This issue is now fixed in the latest update (Id 14.0.1) of InDesign CC.
    If you are unable to see the update notification yet, open the menu (three dots) from the top-right of Creative Cloud desktop application and click on ‘Check For App Updates’.

    Once the update button is shown against InDesign CC, click on the button to update your InDesign to Id 14.0.1 for the fix of the issue.
