Data Merge panel doesn't import UTF-8 data when selecting "UTF-8" encoding option
I’m using Adobe InDesign v. 20.5.0.48 on the macOS v. 15.6.1. I have a “merge.csv” data file encoded in UTF-8 that imports into the Data Merge panel when I select “ASCII” as the encoding but, unsurprisingly, doesn’t display some special characters correctly. When I select “UTF-8” as the encoding option, which should remedy this problem, the file fails to import!

Layers
I was trying to export my design to a PDF (for print) when this happened (see first attachment). The elements in the two circles (far right) went missing (these circles should look like the circle on the far left - i used a red arrow to show what I'm talking about). And also, the (black) layers containing these missing elements were locked and cannot be opened/deleted/edited/moved.
After a few minutes, even the white circle disappeared (see second attachment).
Then the program finally crashed and gave me the option to reopen the recovered file but it was damaged (see third attachment).

Packaging with Include PDF (Print) selected doesn't properly render .ai images
I have never been able to successfully use the "Include PDF" option when packaging files. I usually package, then export the pdf using my presets, then combine the files in the finder because the pdfs never come out correctly. It seems the problem is only with how it renders ai files. Color mode doesn't matter. The same thing happens whether or not I choose High Quality Print, Press Quality, PDFx1a, etc. Any solutions for this yet? It has been the case since the "Include PDF" feature was first released. Example has exported pdf on the left, and package generated pdf…
