Share for Review - Critical Scrolling Bug with Large Documents
Indesign Version 17.0
When scrolling in large documents (200-500 pages) the browser-window of Share for Review the screen hops between 3-5 different screens multiple times a second. This bug makes the feature basically unusable. Sometimes it snaps back (maybe after rendering correctly?), sometimes it just doen't.
The bigger the document, the faster the error seems to occur. Working on my 200 page-document with my team is essentially impossible right now.

Color Swatch Menu Closes Upon Right-Click
- Adobe InDesign v19.0 When I click the color swatches panel menu dropdown, the menu drops down, and I am able to edit existing swatches and I am able to add new swatches. The problem occurs when I attempt to right-click on a color or if I press the hamburger button at the top right of the panel. When I try to do either of these, the entire menu closes.

Workspace disappearing and not being able to get it back
Sometimes all my right-handed Tools, that I carefully assembled in a workspace i like, disappear, like pages, Colors etc. Although being able to click them in den Window-Menu, nothing appears. The only way to get them back is to change to another workspace and re-create my own workspace piece by piece, which then might last a few weeks before not being able to use them again.
Any ideas what goes wrong here?

Publish Online URL links breaking website functionality
File Created in Indesign CC 2017
I have created a test interactive document with links to product DG012 on our company website.

When the link is clicked from publish online it opens the page but seems to disable all scripts that run on the website. e.g. search field and add to cart no longer functions on that page.
The website itself functions correctly if you navigate to the link manually ( http://www.lockhart.co.uk/Table-Service-and-Buffet/Buffet-Display/Display-Stands/Rafters-F usion-1-2-Board~p~DG012 ).
Interestingly in safari the add to cart button functions but the search field is still disabled.
On closer inspection it seems to be an iframe…

"Windows version 1709 not supported" yet, "You must update your system to install InDesign v15.0"
Hi Adobe Team - Searching your site it sounds like Windows 10 should not be a barrier to working in the latest version of InDesign, but I am unable to install InDesign v15.0 on my work computer.
My Creative Cloud Desktop window displays the below message in quotes:

Bug: UXP plugin panels become unusable when pressing Alt+F4 on Windows
InDesign 20.2 x64 on Windows 11
Steps to reproduce:
- Open any UXP based plugin panel on Windows OS (does not occur on Mac)
- Click inside the panel to "focus" it
- Press Alt+F4Expected result:
- InDesign window/app is closed (Alt+F4 is the default Windows shortcut for closing a window)Actual result:
- Plugin panel contents becomes blank.
- Situation is unrecoverable in InDesign. Closing the panel and reopening it has no effect. InDesign restart is required."Ironically" this issue also occurs for the built-in "Plugins" panel (likely also UXP based?)

Find Format and Change Format option unavailable in Find/Change-文字種変換
Version : Adobe InDesign 2021(ver.16.0.1 ja_JP)
OS : macOS10.15.61.Steps to reproduce the issues
1. Open Find/Change Window.
2. Select "文字種変換" and click "Specify attributes to Find" and Select Style button.
3. The selected Style does not shown in "Find Format" area and we can't apply it. However, click the button, we can see selected Style we selected previouse step.
4. The Change Format in "文字種変換" also unavailable.2.Expected result
The selected style is displayed correctly in Find Style area and is correctly apply.

[ID-4274638]Text disappears intermittently while Typing
I am using InDesign 2026 on a PC and text disappears intermittently as I'm typing. I don't know exactly what triggers it. It reappears of if scroll up or down but it annoying all the same. Can it be fixed?
Analysis
- This may be specific to Windows Platform only.
Workaround
- Change the presentation mode.
- Add more text.

Some spreads gone grey and only export as blank pages in 15.1.1
I have a 48-page magazine about to go to print and three spreads have suddenly gone grey - as you see in screenshot. In the Pages panel they appear blank and when I export them - also blank. Getting worried...
Separately, the "Fit Page/Spread in Window" instead zooms in to 2,642% magnification.

BUG Keypress doesn´t respond

Please upgrade to the new InDesign 14.0 from your Creative Cloud Application.If you are unable to see the update yet, click on the menu (three dots) on the top right corner of Creative cloud app and click on “Check for App Updates”.

60 Noto (foreign) fonts showing up in middle of drop down font listing.
I have recently upgraded to Adobe CC 2020, and also upgraded to Mac OS Catalina. when I open my font drop down menu I expect to see all of the 'foreign' (non english) fonts at the bottom of the list. Instead, there is a font 'Noto' with 60 font families in the menu. I've checked in 'Font Book' on my mac, and that font is NOT listed as an 'english' font, so I assume it SHOULD go to the bottom of the menu. drop shadow effect bug - in NEW 2018 Indesign
The Blend Mode in DROP SHADOW is FROZEN on MULTIPLY.. I cannot choose any other blend option... i.e. screen, darken, lighten..and it defaults to MULTIPLY...
I tried drop shadow filter on multiple elements and documents.. STILL FROZEN... BIG BUG..
I'll go back to using the older version until you get your issues fixed.

Table window does not show measurements when table is selected

Happens from time to time when the cahracters disappear completely or partially and gains functionality after quiting ID several times or restarting Mac.1 vote -
Drop shadow changing position and shape on rotated objects and exporting incorrectly to PNG
Drop shadows move unexpectedly on rotated objects. It creates a visual glitch that can be seen toggling Overprint Preview On/Off.
Incorrect drop shadow can be seen in PNG export.
Correct drop shadow can be seen in PDF.To recreate the bug:
1) Draw a shape or a create a text frame
2) Apply a drop shadow to the object (any setting, video is with Adobe default)
3) Rotate the object
4) Move the object around the live page until the drop shadow starts moving unexpectedly (offset varies).
5) Export to PNG.InDesign 21.2

Can no longer expand palettes to full window screen height
After upgrading to ID 2026, I can no longer expand my palettes to the full height of my screen. In the attached screen shot, the palette is as tall as I can make it. This seems to be the case for all palettes, not just layers. My screen resolution is 2560 x 1440.

InDesign CC 2026 - Arrange windows does not use full screen area
When using InDesign without the application frame ("Anwendungsrahmen" in the german version we use) active, opening multiple documents and trying to arrange them with any of the options in Windows > Arrange ("Fenster" > "Anordnen") the windows are arranged according to the deactivated/invisible application frame and not the full screen as in previous versions. Also, when the application frame is scaled to the full screen and then deactivated, the arranged windows keep a thin row on the bottom of the screen free (and overlap in the vertical center by this amount). Horizontal scrollbar in Adobe Preview is hard to find.
My clients are complaining that when they enlarge the page view in Adobe Preview, they can't see half the page and don't see a way to scroll to it. The problem is the slider at the bottom of the browser window doesn't appear until you hover over it with the cursor - and once you do, it is very shallow and hard to click on, especially for older clients with less than perfect vision.
Could this not be made visible once the view is enlarged, and make it a bit thicker so less nimble hands can click on it?1 vote -
For long documents containing more than 50K characters, GREP search fails to find all matching instances
Since updating to CC 14.0.2 on Windows, GREP search is no longer functioning properly. Not all instances of queries are found, or not found at all.
I believe this is the case when working on documents created in an older version. In a newly created document it does work as it should.83 votesHello All,

color menu at the top of the window doesn't stick
When I try and click the colour selector at the top of the screen it doesn't do anything, or the palette flashes for a second and then disappears. InDesign version 20.1, MacOS Sonoma 14.7.2. Sometimes when I click it the computer jumps to a different app. Once or twice the app has crashed.
