For long documents containing more than 50K characters, GREP search fails to find all matching instances
Since updating to CC 14.0.2 on Windows, GREP search is no longer functioning properly. Not all instances of queries are found, or not found at all.
I believe this is the case when working on documents created in an older version. In a newly created document it does work as it should.

Newest version of InDesign I see in Adobe CC application is 14.0.1 I tried the plugin to use, but it wanted version 14.0.2. I had to dowgrade to version 14.0 to ude InDesign. Can you help please?
Thank you for the fix. When this fix will be in the next official InDesign update, do we have to uninstall the plugin or do something about it? I hope this plugin fix won't break anything when updating to the next InDesign version.

Will this fix be a part of the 14.0.2 version or will there be a 14.0.3 that includes this bugfix?

Thanks @Anonymous !
That was stupid - although careless is probably a better word ;o)
@phantom steve: Theres an instruction for Mac as well. Its not a vbs for Mac.
Although i'd prefer the Hotfix to be in the cloud as well. Maybe as a Beta-Branch.

Double-clicking the .vbs file on my iMac opens Text Wrangler.
Is there any other way to install ?
Why do we have the cloud if you dont use it for updates... just push the fix

This also happens on Macs. ID 14.0.2, Mac OS 10.14.3. I've reverted to ID 2018 until this is fixed.
Please fix this! The last update has some ugly bugs : <
Hurryup! It‘s urgent
This needs to be fixed!
please fix, we use grep find/replace on very long legal docs, it's a lifesaver.
Same with Arabic text
