There is no v21.2.0.30 in creative cloud?
where can we update this horrible version

Why is the issue marked as FIXED? The pre-release version isn't the final version. Not everyone wants or can install test versions. When will you fix this and other issues? At my company, we had to switch to Affinity, which is fast and stable, but unfortunately, we can't migrate all our Indesign documents to it.

I have a user encountering the same issue, but she is using InDesign v20.5.2.

Every time I use the text tool either in a normal text box or in a table cell,
the textbox or even the whole table disappears.
To get it to appear again, I have to go to another page and come back.
After this step it will show again.
This happens at least 10x a day.
I use Indesign on a daily basis, and if this is not resolved I will not renew my subscription.

Problem seems to be solved in the pre-release!

Why is it only on pre-release? Shouldn't this be available to all?

If I try this prerelease build and it doesn't work, is it easy to revert to the previous version of ID?

It took so long for a fix that I started using Affinity. Adobe, don't go down this route, because the competition never sleeps.

Myself and my group of 7 are all dealing with the same issue. We are spread out across our province and and all on Windows 11 Enterprise Version 23H2 if that helps for reference. We are all on v. 21.0.2. I have tried changing the setting for GPU Performance but it made no difference.

When editing a text box, the text disappears.
I have to switch the display mode (Overview > Normal or Normal > Overview) to make the text appear again.

This bug occurs very frequently. Probably 30 times a day.

I have noticed the same problem and it is very annoying. It seems like it is taking way too long to fix this bug.

Same problem on my PC, the text disappear with the latest version of InDesign...and impossible to undo more than 3 times....very very annoying...

The text disappears when I type. To make it reappear, I have to move the block or resize it. It's impossible to work!
