ALT Text not appearing in group
>>>InDesign 2020
>>Issue: I have a screenshot with alt text included (typed in the Object Export Options dialogue). I then have a simple red box (rectangle tool, no fill, 2pt stroke) highlighting a section of that screenshot. When I group those objects, and export a tagged PDF, I get an error in Acrobat stating that no alt text exists.
>>Expected result: Alt text should appear.
>>Actual result: No alt text is present, or the assigned alt text is not recognized and is flagged by Acrobat's accessibility checker.
>>This issue did not exist with ID 2019.

Crash/Error Reporting & (non)Solutions
>>>I have been using Adobe products since the beginning. After a crash, I have not ever once had the Error Report that 'searches for a solution or workaround' come back with any solution—working or not. Has anyone ever had a useful solution or workaround come back? Just me?? I am guessing it is still valuable to send the reports, although not sure about that either.

Crash when changing bullet character options
>>>Just updated to the newest InDesign version (as of 28.03.2020).
>
> Whenever changing the character style on a bullet list, in my case trying to change the character color of the bullet/numbering character (1., 2., 3. ...) , either via paragraph style -> bullet options or directl via character style window, InDesign crashes. The application does not crash when I choose the "Overprint Fill" option.2 votesTo identify the cause of this issue, we had started our investigation with the aim to resolve it. You might have also received an email from us seeking more details to help in our investigation.
We’ve concluded our investigation and came up with the finding: Either the issue is fixed in the latest release of InDesign or the issue was intermittent in nature at the time of its reporting and is not reproducible now.
We recommend you to upgrade to the latest version of InDesign 2021(v16.0.0.77) as it is more robust and contains a lot of bug fixes.

Crash when exporting
>>>Every time I try to export my document to a PDF InDesign 12.1 crashes. I've quit and restarted the software, and restarted my computer. I have no pending updates. I'm not sure why the program crashes every time I try to export. I've tried to go around the issue by packaging the file, exporting directly to PDF, or getting a PDF from a "print" operation, but nothing seems to work. It crashes every time.

ID 2020 - Indent in combination with wrap text around an image not working
>>>In Indesign 2020, whenever I want to wrap text next to an image, but the text also has an indent the text jumps from the supposed position.
>
> In Indesign 2019 this did not happen. The text was wrapped nicely next to the image, the way you should expect.>My guess what happens here, is that the indent specs are applied not the the edge of the frame, but to the edge of the text. Which corrupts the spacing between the image and the text.
>>I'm working with the latest 2020 version on iMac with Catalina
>20 votesThis issue is addressed with a new option "Honor Text Indents in addition to Text Wrap" in Preferences > Composition dialog. This option is ON for new docs created in ID2023 and needs to be turned ON for docs created in older versions of InDesign when opened in ID2023.

>>Dear Adobe InDesign team, I would like to request a new feature for Adobe InDesign: the ability to link a word or phrase in the main (body) text with a corresponding word or phrase in a footnote (or another text frame), so that if the main text moves to another page, the linked text in the footnote will also automatically move together. This feature is very important for professional publishing workflows, especially for complex academic, multilingual, and religious books. For example, in Islamic or scholarly works, it is critical that a term in the main text and its explanation

Overset text
>>>Hi team, I am having issues with overset text. When I drag my text frame outside of the bleed line into the workspace the icon doesn't appear. As soon as I drag it onto my page the icon shows and if I increase the text frame additional text space appears above the word. There is no text wrap on the text frame and is on a completely different layer so arrangement isn't an issue. Can you please help me fix this issue.

Word Lookup / Search with Google for text
>>>How about adding a 'word lookup' OR 'search with Google' for words while working with text copy in Indesign and InCopy? I know there is a default dictionary integrated, but I'm talking about the way you can search any sentence or word in the most browsers just by right-clicking.
>>Basically, just a feature to add a search engine for text lookups directly from Indesign and InCopy - it will help a lot working with text copies and editing text stories directly from the program.

BUG - 15.1.1 - Mac/PC - text threads don't display
>>>On both Mac and PC, the 15.1.1 version doesn't display text frame threads.
>>When I create a new doc, threaded text frames DO show the threads. But when I open pre-existing documents, threads don't show at all. I've confirmed this behavior with a few other people, on both OS platforms. I'm running on Win10/64, [Version 10.0.18363.836]. The Mac users were on very recent OS's.

InDesign Strips Formatting When Pasting Text from Google Docs
>>Description:
>
> When copying formatted text from Google Docs and pasting it directly into Adobe InDesign, all formatting (such as bold, italics, font size, and links) is lost. However, if the same text is first pasted into Microsoft Word or TextEdit, the formatting is preserved and can then be successfully pasted into InDesign. This suggests the issue is specific to InDesign’s handling of clipboard data from Google Docs. As a workaround, I currently have to use an intermediate application like Word, which slows down my workflow.>Steps to Reproduce:
