Dear Adobe InDesign team, I would like to request a new feature for Adobe InDesign: the ability to link a word or phrase in the main (body) text with a corresponding word or phrase in a footnote (or another text frame), so that if the main text moves to another page, the linked text in the footnote will also automatically move together. This feature is very important for professional publishing workflows, especially for complex academic, multilingual, and religious books. For example, in Islamic or scholarly works, it is critical that a term in the main text and its explanation in the footnote always stay together and do not end up on different pages.
