   We have released an update for InDesign CC2019 (v 14.0.1) which contains fixes for some key issues. If you are not already on 14.0.1 (build 209), then we recommend you to update to latest version.

   • Error snapshot or video recording of the issue.

   Hello All,

   We have fixed a number of stability issues with InDesign’s latest update. Please download the latest InDesign version.

   If you are unable to see the update yet, go to Creative Cloud application, click on the context menu on the top right and click on Check for App Updates.

6. Drop Shadow is Very Buggy Within the App for Text

   > >The drop shadow effect is very buggy in the editor and has been for quite some time. I just dealt with it for the longest time but it seriously slows down production when I'm constantly having to "fix" it by making a change to the text then Undoing it (i.e. delete a character, then press Command+Z). The bug happens when Drop Shadow is applied to text and you scroll down the page a bit. The attached images show the before and after. If I scroll down the page after "fixing" it, it just re-bugs out. I work with white text so drop shadow is imperative for me to see the text against the white background of the page. Please fix this, it's been an issue for quite some time now, and apparently after looking through the forum it's not just with text either. 7. eyedropper tool doesn't work any more and scrollbar disappears in color panel

8. nonprinting text boxes disappear in normal view. Create a text box and type text into it. Select Window/Output/Attributes, and tick the box.

10. When in text tool, command-a does not select all the Text in the Box, but all boxes on the page instead

15. Crash on object state rename

    We have released InDesign 2025(v20.2.0.036) with many stability fixes. We recommend you upgrade to the latest version (if you’re not already on it) as it is more robust.

    Fix for this issue is now available in the latest update of InDesign 2020 – that is, InDesign 15.0.1

    In the Creative Cloud Desktop application, click on the Updates section on the left. You should be able to see the Update available for InDesign. Please update your InDesign application to this version to try out the fix.

    To identify the cause of this issue, we had started our investigation with the aim to resolve it. You might have also received an email from us seeking more details to help in our investigation.

    We’ve concluded our investigation and came up with the finding: Either the issue is fixed in the latest release of InDesign or the issue was intermittent in nature at the time of its reporting and is not reproducible now.

    We recommend you to upgrade to the latest version of InDesign 2021(v16.0.0.77) as it is more robust and contains a lot of bug fixes.
