  1. No longer scroll to select items with the arrow keys

    With import of several items you can no longer scroll to select items with the arrow keys?

    It work if i use place CMD+D but doesn't work with CC libraries.

    If i use more than 1 items in the CC libraries i need to place one of the items in the layout and after i can scroll to select items with the arrow keys on the keyboard

  3. [CS6-CC2018][MAJOR BUG] Images upscaled in flattened PDF-files when placed over gradient

    Hi,

    With this post I would like to report a major bug in Indesign.

    The problem occurs in these conditions:
    - A gradient background
    - On top of the background product images containing clipping masks / transparency. The images have insufficiënt resolution (105ppi).

    When creating a flattened PDF-file (1.3) using the default PDF export feature, and valid high resolution export presets, all images which have a resolution higher then 75ppi, are upscaled in the final PDF-file. Images which are 105 ppi, are suddenly 300ppi in the final PDF-file. Images which an effection resolution of 75 ppi, remain 75 ppi.

  4. Layers panel is always minimized upon start

    After launching InDesign the panel group with the panels "Layers/Scripts" is always minimized (AID2.png) although I saved my workspace with expanded panels (AID1.png). Tried to resave my workspace or create a new one, but the issue remains. When I reset my workspace the panel gets expanded, but only until the next launch of InDesign. It's not severe bug, but a bit annoying to reset the workspace on every launch of the program, because a workspace actually is dedicated to help avoid setting the workspace again and again, shouldnt' it?

  5. ID - CMYK separation preview vs. RGB illustrations

    Hey there,

    1. every InDesign Version (my Version Adobe InDesign CC 2018 13.1)

    2. a) open new print CMYK document
      b) place a Ai object like .eps or .ai with RGB modus (with a black element – in RGB 0/0/0 – but in CMYK 88/79/65/93)
      c) now copy the object and convert the same object into CMYK modus and place them too
      d) start the CMYK separation preview in InDesign and disable the black color
      e) at the end only the CMYK object is separated and the RGB object is totally away

    3. I wish the RGB object would separated like the rectangle –…

  6. Lose tabs when converting to curves in document since new update

    I have noticed since I updated to the newest 20.0 version yesterday that every job that I have used set up tabs in and then convert to curves to go to print production (avoids any font reflow issues when processing film) the tabs do not hold. This has never been an issue before this update. Please fix this bug.

  7. Footnote links lost when exporting to HTML

    Randomly the number and link are both missing, not all but some. Sometimes there could be just one footnote number or 10...but some or all are missing. The footenote references are there with the links, just not the footenote number/link.

  8. Imported PDF not previewing in high quality

    When placing exported PDFs from Adobe XD, High Quality Display previews don't show properly when GPU Performance is selected. You must turn off GPU performance or select Typical Display.

    MacOS 10.12.6 mid 2015 MacBook Pro.

  9. autocomplete texts in document info form

    in the form of document info the autocomplete feature doesn't work. so when i want to add the author of new document, i must write it whole everytime.

  12. InDesign

    InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop (most recent versions) are no longer recognizing activated fonts that they recognized 10 days ago. No updates were made to any software. This is EXTREMELY problematic since I can't continue working on numerous projects that use these fonts. This must be fixed immediately. Have tried rebooting, re-installing fonts, etc. NOTHING is working.

    PDF files with rotated objects with shadow, printed by Preview, have a grey background (not if printed with Acrobat)

  14. span footnote

    "span footnotes over columns" works well (Indesign 2018) but when I print with HP Laserjet pro M252 I get only the first column of notes printed (the other blank) also if the text is ok and the PDF export and printing is ok.
    Please, help.

  15. auto sized frame cuts off text descenders

    When a text frame is set to auto resize by height, the descenders are cut off the last line of text.

  16. Placed type from Word comes in as 'none'

    When I place text from a Word doc into my magazine template, the type comes in with the color 'none'. Even when I use a paragraph style that has black specified as the type color, it still stays as none. So I have to select all of the copy and manually change it to black. This doesn't seem to happen in other documents -- just my magazine template. I don't know how to fix it. Using latest version of ID.

  17. Inconsistent unit names in Czech version

    The "points" are called "body" in the Czech langauge., the short version is "b". Unfortunately Adobe CC apps are very inconsistent and you can find "b" (InDesign, Photoshop), "b." (InDesign) or even not translated "pt" (Illustrator).

    Please make it consistent. If you can't change it in all Adobe apps, at least make it "b" in InDesign. (Adobe CS 6 is correct, line thickness is represented as "b" while CC displays "b.".

  19. Unable to create text anchor from text with an apostrophe in it.

    Anytime I create a text anchor out of a piece of copy with an apostrophe in it (ex. What's New) and use it as the destination for a button or hyperlink, the interactive PDF does not redirect to the anchor. My workaround has been to select everything but the word with the apostrophe in it, but I would love to see this fixed in the next version.

  20. InDesign suddenly has problems selecting the most basic things

    For about the past two weeks, I've been experiencing a frustrating problem on two Mac installations of InDesign 13.1. When an object is selected and I click on a color swatch to change its color, about 30% of the time it will not take effect. If I have multiple objects selected and I click on one of those objects again, instead of assigning that object as the key object like it should, the entire group of objects moves slightly to the left. I am absolutely sure I am not moving the mouse when this happens. Also, regarding the color change…
