  1. No brake style broke All Caps style

    In Polish language I'm using no break GREP in style to automatically correct hanging letters at the end of the line. When I have this GREP and change style to 'all caps' it doesn't affect letters with 'no break'!
    It worked fine with all CC versions till latest update! Why Adobe with the latest version release always broke something that work for years

  2. False layer gets duplicated through context menu

    If for example layer 1 is selected in the layers panel and layer 2 is right-clicked, the context menu for layer 2 appears. If you choose to duplicate the layer 2, the selected layer 1 gets duplicated. Deleting works as expected.

    We have been able to reproduce the issue and it is currently under investigation.

    Workaround: Select the Layer that needs to be duplicated to avoid the issue.

  3. In Design Online Post has changed with updated

    We have been using the Publish online Feature for a year. Today, the lastest post displays all the hyperlinks. Attached are two browser versions. Windows looks much like Chrome. Thoughts

  4. Splitting large documents using Extendscript Toolkit script hangs InDesign v.14 for several minutes

    Running script (extendscript) that takes a large document and splits it into individual documents based on their section hangs for several minutes before completing task in InDesign v14. Prevous version (v13) of InDesign did not have this hanging issue and complete task quickly. Attached is the script (and referenced script) used.

  5. Endnote Font Size Problems

    Version: InDesign 14

    Steps: When placing an endnote in a frame "Loaded by Place Curser", the font size used for the end note does not honor the font size determined by the style. This includes when the paragraph style is set in the endnote options, as well as when the paragraph style is applied by selecting the endnote text.

    1. Create endnote style, and set it in endnote options
    2. Set endnote text frame to "loaded by place curser" in endnote options
    3. Add an endnote to the text, and place endnote text frame
    4. The Endnote text added to this frame does not…

  6. InDesign 14.0 x 64 Margin won't change since software update

    When I try to increase or decrease margins, nothing happens. It used to work great until my last software update.

    .ai imported file bounding box turns solid black when printed. The previous version of ID left me choose "the printer determines colors" under Color Handling. After the recent upgrade that selection is no longer available.

  8. exporting a book to PDF (dialogue box

    When exporting a book to PDF from Indesign CC2019 on Mac OSX Mojave, the export pdf dialogue box ("Generating PDF") displays (showing progress / page count) but it can't be hidden (or covered over) by switching to another app or browser window like it used to. Eg if it was z layers in CSS, it is always sitting on top and getting in the way of multi-tasking whilst exporting the book file.

  9. Indesign CC 2019 Bugs(Preserve Styles and Formatting from Text and Tables)

    I usually use the inDesign to import the created word file.
    However, if I check the Preserve Styles and Formatting from Text and Tables in indesign cc 2019 and import the file, the formatting of the text will be deleted.
    This does not happen with Indesign cc 2018, but this will continue to happen in this 2019 upgrade.
    I ask you to correct this problem.

  10. Objects with Opacity Fill below 100%, appear as 100% when PDF proof placed in a layout file.

    Created ad with objects containing simple color fills below 100% (50% and 30%) opacity. Exported proofs to use in a Indesign magazine layout file. Once the PDF was dropped into a frame, those faded opacity values jumped back to 100%. Fix was to re-edit the original files, change Opacity values, re-save, re-export proof, drop proof back into main layout. Very annoying.

  13. Support for higher resolutions

    I didn't find a possibility to open "Mehr Optionen" (more options) in the new tab "Eigenschaften" on the right side BY DEFAULT. On TFTs with 2160px there is no need für reducing options

  14. Assignments checked out from two PCs simultaneously

    I updated my CC to 2019, but the designer hasn't. She's still using 2018.
    I had checked out some assignments from a indd file in the intra server and checked all in when I was done.
    Before notifying my designer she came and asked, "how were you able to work o the assignments when I was working on them?"
    She was working on the same indd file, from InDesign, with all assignments checked out.
    And yet, when I checked all in, she got "update" signs next to the assignments. And weirdly, when she updated them all, they updated fine with…

    Hello All,

    Thank you for your support all this while. The issue is now fixed in the latest update of InDesign.
    Please upgrade to the new InDesign 14.0 from your Creative Cloud Application.

    If you are unable to see the update yet, click on the menu (three dots) on the top right corner of Creative cloud app and click on “Check for App Updates”.

    Let us know if the issue is resolved for you in InDesign 14.0.

  17. Document setup window is cropped with large icons

    So after Mojave install on my Adobe apps Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc windows are cropped with large icons so I can't even create a new document see screen shot this is how all apps look.

  18. fitting rotatet bitmaps

    I do not know if it's a bug or feature request:
    Rotated bitmaps should be fitted to fill its box completely. After fitting no box-backgraund or transparency inside the box should to bee seen.

  19. Type functions do not work on Text frames in CC2019

    In all previous versions, it was possible to select a TEXT FRAME (one or more) and apply any text formatting to the text in it.

    This has been removed in CC2019. With a text frame selected, the text functions in the control panel and in text related palettes -- Character, Paragraph -- are disabled. The functions in the Character and Paragraph Styles panels are NOT disabled but they don't "work".

    Expected result: how it worked in the 13 versions that preceded this one.

  20. Jagged Text - CC 2019

    Adobe Indesign CC 2019 Enabling GPU Enhancement makes text jagged and discolored. This bug is happening on an iMac using the latest OS "Mojave".
