Unable to add Paragraph Styles to Creative Cloud Library, InDesign 2018
Not sure how you can reproduce this as I haven't found anybody else with this problem, but hopefully you can figure out how to help me. I cannot add paragraph styles to the Library, and I have tried every way:"+" button on the panel with text selected, cloud button on the styles panel, dragging from the panel... nothing works. Everything else--including character styles--can be added normally.
The issue is due to the Kerning being set as None, if one sets it as Optical or Metrics, it solves the issue. The issue is currently under review.

I can add paragraph styles to my CC Library. But all I get is the Icon with the squares chasing each other around like it's trying to upload. They do not sync. I called Adobe today and they told me that this issue "does not exist". I tried the suggestion of changing the Kerning settings, to no avail. What am I missing here? I am running the most current version (14.0.1). I have restarted the program. I have restarted the machine. I can successfully add color swatches to the Library.

Adjusting the Kerning as suggested worked for me. Thank you Anasuiya.

Hi Edgar
Thanks for sharing the document. I am able to reproduce the issue at my end as well. I will investigate further as to what is causing the issue.

Hi Anasuiya,
Apologies for the late reply. I didn't get a notification in my email of your reply and only now I got around checking back directly in here. I have just shared a test file with the old styles loaded in: https://adobe.ly/2hFlR2Q Hopefully you'll figure out what's going on.
Cheers

Hi Edgar
Thanks for providing this information!
Is this specific to a single documents or with all the documents you are using that were created in the earlier versions of InDesign?
If possible, please share a few documents (created in earlier versions and use to load styles, etc.) with which you see these issues at anasgupt@adobe.com, this will help us debug the issue you are facing.

Hi, thanks for the response.
1. InDesign 13.0 (CC2018) on Windows 10
2. Since the update to CC2018 from 2017, when it first rolled out.
3. I see the checkbox but nothing happens after I click ok. It doesn't get added to the Library. However, I discovered that any method will work in a brand new document or documents that were created shortly ago. The problem seems to appear on older files so I'm guessing it's a compatibility issue?I have tried creating a new file and loading the styles from an old file. Not only I cannot add those styles to the library, now the document is unable to add new styles by any method, including the flyout menu. Undoing the loading of styles restores that functionality to the document.
