hatched stroke styles
Hatched stroke styles aren't distributed evenly around ellipses and circles. The last segment appears twice. Works fine with dotted line, though.

middle east defaults
Controlling defaults for ME options - doesn't work for cut/paste?
I'm using the ME edition of InDesign 2018. The majority of my work is exclusively left-to-right, so I've set all default options to those appropriate to English (UK) text. This works fine when I'm creating a text box with the text tool, but when I cut/paste text without having a cursor in a pre-existing text box, the automatically-created new text box always has "right-to-left text direction" selected in its Story options. Is there any way I can change this default?

Editing Text Causes First Line to Move Down
If you edit text, the top line drops down (a little bit? not sure how much), as if the text frame has inset spacing from the top.

When I export an indesign file to a PDF, Acrobat doesn't name it with the existing indesign file name. It puts some non-sense name instead.
When I export an indesign file to a PDF, Acrobat DC doesn't name it with the existing indesign file name. It puts some non-sense name instead requiring me to type in the name of the indesign file I've just exported. . Is there a setting I can choose that will automatically use the indesign file name when I'm exporting to a PDF?

Cannot Pan/Scroll with WACOM pen in Open/Save/Place file dialogue windows.
Cannot Pan/Scroll with Wacom pen in Open/Save/Place type file dialogue windows in mmany if not all of Adobe apps (where every other non-Adobe app I know of does, Apple and other 3rd parties), obviously this pertains to when you've mapped a Wacom pen button to pan/scroll to use in that manner (Wacom settings screen attached).
What should happen is being able to interact similar to touch omnidirectional swiping which includes vertical mouse-like scrolling when pressing the button and making contact with the pen, as would be expected and Wacom designed it to do.
What instead happens: Adobe apps interpret this…

Files with special characters
When linking files with special characters in their name (German umlauts, to be precise) on an Apple Macintosh system, exporting the project and transferring the whole stuff to a windows system, everything looks perfect, but
- links in the indd file to assets with umlauts are recorded as missing
- relinking on a per-folder-basis does not find them, eitherWorkaround: re-link each file on a per-file basis.
Guess there is something wrong in the way indesign handles the file names internally (i.e. some encoding issue).

Recent files panel
the link to the files in the Home panel is broken or inoperative.
If I close a job under Ind (cc2018- 13.0.1), it is not possible to return to it, even immediately afterwards. I didn't move the file from his folder, but Ind can't find it.I tried to put "0" in the number of files in the preferences, then to quit Ind, then to reopen Ind, to put "1" file in preference and to reopen this same file by the browser, without success.
The pop-up indicates the file moved or locked, which is not the case.

XML tagging with GREP
GREP is a great tool, but when we use GREP to highlight more than one character style in a paragraph there is an issue with the XML tagging tool.
Only the first GREP expression applies a character style that can be automatically tagged by character style. All further GREP expressions apply the character style but don't then go on to automatically tag by character style.
Currently we have to work around it with scripting, but it is a very strange bug to have.

fonts appearing as distressed almost
Some fonts appear as distressed. Almost like there's a pattern overlay on them. It changes as you move the text box around on the screen. Doesn't export into pdf like this, only in active document (see blue text, I've included what appears in indesign and how it looks normally)

Incorrect transparency redering on screen
When I open a document that has a drop shadow applied, the shadow papers misplaced and distorted. If I turn the drop shadow off and on again, it fixed the issue. Also if I open a document that has an Outer Glow applied, it appears too opaque and too large. It seems that if I apply an Outer Glow to to the Object effect , save and close the document and reopen, somehow an Outer Glow is also applied to the Text effect. Other similar issues as well.

Opening the window «create QR-Code» makes thr function «copy / paste» inactiv. This is uselessly.

Linking Issues Between Mack and Windows
Our team is experiencing broken links in files saved on our network between Mac and Windows users. How do we seamlessly link documents between the two different operating systems? When I open a file on my Mac and save it and a Windows user tries to access the same file, the links are broken. The type of server we are on is a Windows Server 2008 R2.

[Indesign CS6-CC 2018][BUG] Wrong objects in array after moving page item to layer using Javascript
When running a script to process page items stored in a custom array and after moving a page item to another layer, the array contents changes. Objects are removed and other objects which where not put in the array are suddenly located inside the array.

Endnotes fail to import from .doc if no master page is applied in InDesign 2018
If placing a word doc that contains endnotes in cc2018, the text will import but all endnotes will be missing is there is no master page applied within the InDesign file.

image position changes on pdf export
I am creating a 'flipbook' of images in InDesign, when I fullscreen the flipbook in InDesign all the image positions are correct and do not move, however when I export to a PDF and preview the flipbook using acrobat, the images do not retain their exact positions and move 1px or 2px on some pages. I have repeatedly checked the image positions in InDesign and and they are all fixed in the same position. Is there any option in the PDF output settings that ensures that the images will be 'anchored' to the correct position?

The book palette must be locked. (move the documents palette)
a momentary unwanted user error.
We should be able to move documents by option or command key.
To make a small correction before printing. We move accidentally while working on files. We do not notice this. It's printing like this.

It is impossible to export iframes to ePub
To Adobe
It is well known, that Apple blocks iFrames. But when you can insert youtube codes into an iframe in InDesign and see it work perfect in "Public Online", then why do the video disappear when I export InDesign files to the ePub format.Claus Bangsholm

InDesign CC 2018 Application frame will not fill screen
Hi Folks
Having an issue since InDesign 2018 with sizing the app window.
When in Application Frame mode, the frame will not expand horizontally to fill the screen — it will only expand vertically.
It expands normally up to about 80% of the screen width, but then becomes unresponsive to any attempt to make it wider - so I'm working in a dinky little workspace.
The app seems to think my display is narrower than it really is.
Windows expand normally when application frame is turned off, and return to the problem width when app frame is turned back on.
