We’ve concluded our investigation and came up with the finding : Either the issue is fixed in the latest release of InDesign or the issue was intermittent in nature at the time of its reporting and is not reproducible now.

We recommend you to upgrade to the latest version of InDesign 2020 (if you’re not already on it). It contains a lot of stability fixes.

14.0.1.209 is NOT A FIX!!. It worked fine last week. Starting this week (3.4.19) I can't package a document. Placed images need constant re-linking as I am working but their location has not changed. Program freezes multiple times a day. When I then force quit and re-open, ID also opens multiple "untitled" copies of the documents that were open when it froze. I have rebooted everything. I have de-installed and re-installed InDesign twice. Nothing works.

I am also running OS 10.14.3. Hope someone can help, this is messed UP.

During our analysis of issue mentioned in the thread, we found that you had reported a crash with an older release of InDesign.

We have released InDesign CC2019.0.1 with lot of stability fixes. If you are not on 14.0.1.209 then I would recommend you to upgrade to latest version as it is more robust.

• Does Trashing preference and cache, please create a backup of Preference and cache before trashing them, help to resolve the issue?
