   Thank you for reporting the issue to us.
   We have been able to improve the performance with span columns but it is till work in progress.

   Please upgrade your InDesign application to the latest version to try out the incremental fix.

   To identify the cause of this issue, we had started our investigation with the aim to resolve it. You might have also received email from us seeking more details to help in our investigation.

   We’ve concluded our investigation and came up with the finding : Either the issue is fixed in the latest release of InDesign or the issue was intermittent in nature at the time of its reporting and is not reproducible now.

   We recommend you to upgrade to the latest version of InDesign 2020 (if you’re not already on it). It contains a lot of stability fixes.

   If you still face this issue even after updating to the latest version of InDesign, please submit the crash report to us. (The guidelines to submit crash are available at (https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/kb/submit-crash-reports.html)

6. The numbered portion of a heading in its own frame cannot be included in conditional text

   > >Windows 10 InDesign version 13.1 x64 (CC up-to-date)> I created a sequentially numbered head using bullets and numbering in Style editor. Placed the head in its own frame at the top of a page (# mark at the end of the head). Selected the head (variously using click-drag and 4-click) Only the directly entered text highlighted - not the numbered portion, not the # symbol. I applied a text condition. When the condition was made invisible, the directly-entered text disappeared as expected, but the numbered portion of the text ("Section 9:") did not. Numerous attempts to select the numbered portion and the # symbol did not work. I even tried selecting the entire frame. I finally had to link that frame to the following text frame and give the heading a paragraph marker rather than a story-end marker. That allowed the text to disappear as expected -- but the side-effect was that the following text "rose up" into the area of the original text frame. Now I have to come up with a solution to prevent that happening when the condition that shows the heading is turned off.> >

15. Drive File Stream causing InDesign to crash

16. Text box (&photoBox) LAG & MOVE after clicking / editing

17. GREP styles make UI drastically unresponsive in CC (while still fine in CS6)

18. Text engine buffer breaks if text contains diacritics

19. Vertical Text Alignment not working correctly in InDesign 2020

    Fix for this issue is now available in the latest update of InDesign 2020 – that is, InDesign 15.0.1

    In the Creative Cloud Desktop application, click on the Updates section on the left. You should be able to see the Update available for InDesign. Please update your InDesign application to this version to try out the fix.

    If you have created documents from ID15.0 where you see this issue, please do a Force Recomposition of the Text Frames (Cmd-Opt-/ on Mac, Ctrl-Alt-/ on Win) to make it work correctly.

20. Text glitch in paragraph following uneven 2 column text
