History Window
Using the hotkeys Command > Z to undo constantly brings up a tour of the History window. Don't want to use it or I would already and am really over it telling me to. Please how do I stop the prompt?
The fix of the issue is now available in the latest InDesign 2026(v21.0.0.192). We recommend you upgrade to the latest version for the fix.
If you are unable to see the update, go to the Creative Cloud application, click on the context menu on the top right, and click on Check for App Updates.

Once you take the tour, it will stop appearing. Based on my experience, it's less of a tour and more of a warning; once you do the tour, it seems to enable the history function which overtakes the undo (Ctrl+Z) function and you will be limited to ~5 steps (i.e. typing 5 characters, nudging an element, or revert to open unless you create a snapshot). The function is problematic- see my post about it https://indesign.uservoice.com/forums/601180-adobe-indesign-bugs/suggestions/49668935-history-panel-erases-undo-option-and-history-steps)

it's terribly annoying, there must be a way to stop it appearing...
