Text disappears after hitting 'Accept' in PDF comments
>>ID 15.0.3
>>Just started getting our client to use PDF Comments (instead of printing, writing on, then B&W scanning, then emailing back), I've imported the comments, then hit 'Accept' over the text amends he's made, the text then deletes/disappears. There's no styling or rules or anything else applied, it's just straight text.
>>Screen shot had 4 price points on, but after hitting accept, it's gone. If I change the price manually and leave any original text (to see what happens) such as the $ symbol, then hit 'Accept', the manually altered text stays, but the $ disappears.

Use of tab key is inserting unwanted numerals into line of copy instead of tab
>>When working in InDesign v 14.0.3 x64 on my PC, I've encountered a new problem when trying to align text in a bulleted list using the "tab" key.
>>After keying in the text in my list, I create alignment by first inserting tabs using the Type > Tabs command, and then using the "Tab" key on my keyboard to align second and third lines of text. Lately, when I move my cursor down to the second line of text and attempt to use the tab key to align the text with the tab I set in the line

Cannot enter text size if document is on second display
>>>When using 2 displays, if the document is not on the same page as the menu bar, typing a new text size in the text-size field does not work. Moving the document to the same page as the application frame makes the bug go away.

open file multiple times
>>>19.0
>
> InDesign will open the same file multiple times. In the past, if you have a file open and accidentally double-click the file in the finder to open that same file, it'll just open the window that is already open. In the 19.0 update, it'll open multiple versions of the same file (only if the file is from a version pre 19.0 – pre-converted), which can create issues if changes are made to one file (and they aren't updated in the other). Version control nightmare!1 vote -
[ID-4218828]InDesign, InCopy: linked copy and image files randomly broken
>>We are a group of 16 graphic designers working on Macs. Our OS are varied between Sierra, High Sierra and Mojave. We work in InDesign 14.03 and 15.02 (with linked InCopy assets), Bridge 9.1 and 10.03, Photoshop 20.0.8 and 21.1, and Illustrator 23.1.1 and 24.1. We work on Box Drive and store our layout files and absolute-linked image assets there. It is critical that we are able to work on each others’ files in a high-volume, high-production environment. We don’t believe this is an issue related to our connection speeds.

Mark positioning (GPOS) went wrong for text on path
>>>Khmer rendering has been working well on most of the Adobe products. InDesign is one of them, especially after the fix: >https://indesign.uservoice.com/forums/601180-adobe-indesign-bugs/suggestions/36534535-khmer-script-justification-is-broken>.
>>However, I've just noticed that there is another bug with GPOS for Khmer (or maybe other scripts), when the text is on a path.

text color not showed in track change
>>>In the Story Editor, when Track Changes is activated, there are 3 types of visual indicators for change: text color, background color, and marking. In practice only the marking and the background color work, while the text color is always displayed in black. Attached is a screenshot.

Make editing text faster
>>When I want to, for example, remove all "m2" from "### m2" in table rows (20+ rows of table), I have to slow down my clicking, because InDesign doesn't register a selection change (double click to select), if I do it too fast. Woud be good if it was instantaneous like Word.

Text lag/slow when Documents Folder is present (package)
>>>Since 15.03 there is a Text lag after opening documents that are in a folder that has a Documents folder. This delay has gotten worse in 15.1. If you're working from packaged InDesign folder, try deleting the document fonts folder inside it. Lagging was caused because of a double up in fonts on my computer. This took a month of testing by myelf and IT team to finally figure out!

Allow for updating text thread when rearranging pages.
>>>Allow for a more efficient way to rearrange pages and page content once page layouts have been created. Currently, rearranging pages breaks numbered lists and moving text within story editor breaks the visual layout.

Anchor a group of texts in a text
>>>I use Indesign 19.1. I have a group of texts that I need to anchor in the main text frame. As there is no anchor point on my group, I try to cut it and paste it where I need it to be anchored. I place my cursor where it should be, and paste, but nothing happens. So, I tried the same manipulation in Indesign 18.1 and it works. Can you tell me why it doesn't work anymore, and how can I anchor my group of texts. Is there another way?

InDesign display shift problems

- >Steps causing issue: Make edits on a page with text frames and placed graphics. >
- >Expectation: Layout items render normally. >
- >Result: Sections of layout display shift by several pixels, creating broken display of layout. Uploading mild examples (part of top edge of graphic has shifted; section of edges of frames has shifted). Often lines of text are half cut off

optical margin alignement
