InDesign CC 2018 crashes when copying a text box
I just downloaded ID CC 2018 and every time I copy and paste a text box, whether inside the same document or a different one, the entire program crashes.
Hello All,
We have fixed a number of crashes with InDesign’s latest Nov’17 update.
Please download the latest InDesign version (InDesign CC 13.0.1) for the fix.

If you are unable to see the update yet, go to Creative Cloud application, click on the context menu on the top right and click on Check for App Updates.

I've had this issue on and off recently.
Copy multiple text boxes and a couple of images, then – BOOM!
Whole program crashes.
Reopen program, repeat steps – BOOM!
Whole program crashes.
Reopen program, save and close file *just in case* – BOOM!
Whole program crashes.
Reopen program, save as a new file *just in case* – BOOM!
Whole program crashes.
Delete latent alias file, open last saved version (see step above), copy images and text – BOOM!
Whole program crashes.
Wonders why Adobe has monopoly on market.Indesign CC 2018 13.1

I have the Indesign CC 13.1 update 2018 and this is still happening (crashes when i attempt to copy highlighted text.
I have reinstalled it
I have trashed Prefs
I have restarted my machine. -

BTW, this is happening on both of my computers. Specs below:
1. MacBook Pro Retina with macOS High Sierra, version 10.13
2. iMac - just purchased a week ago, running on latest OS and version -

I am trying to copy the entire text box, not the text inside of the box. The text is not inside of a table. I am not using the eyedropper tool for this.
A secondary instance of ID crashing unexpectedly occurred today as well. I have attached a video link below:

Please let me know if you are not able to access this video. I need to be able to use ID 2018 now. Has this also been reported by any other users?
