1. Macintosh InDesign V14.0.2. Freezes everytime I open it. Mojave operating system.

   I can't use InDesign as it freezes everytime I open it. I have a brand new Mac Mini with Mojave. I have removed 14.0.2 and am loading an older version that actually worked - 13.1. Please let me know when 14.0.2 is working.

2. Accessibility Checker fails Radio buttons and checkboxes in Adobe Acrobat

   Accessibility Checker fails:
   Check boxes (Tagged form fields - Failed)
   Radio buttons (Tagged annotations - Failed)
   InDesign copy changes, Acrobat Reading order missing tags.

   Using MacOS High Sierra V 10.13.6.

   Previous files, InDesign 2018 Export Adobe PDF Interactive Passed the checker.
   Duplicate the pdf and rerun the checker and it passes.

   Same file open in newer version InDesign 2019 Export Adobe PDF Interactive fails. This tells me the problem is with Indesign 2019.

   This is happening with all my files. If I take a new Indesign file with no interactive functions and create them in InDesign 2019 everything passes.

   Indesign file attached with good pdfs and if you export the same Indesign file and run the accessibility checker it will fail in 2019 InDesign.

3. XSL used to export XML, replace function causing issues

   Here’s the issue: in the process of exporting XML using XSL, extended characters (like fancy quotes and em-dashes) are being replaced incorrectly. Basically, while replacing the character with it's corresponding HTML entity, the character plus two more characters get replaced.

   The problem is caused by a difference between the way Adobe is handling XSL in older versions 2014 vs. 2018 or newer. Attached you will find an example export of the 2014 export and the 2018 export using the exact same XSL. Notice that in the 2018 TWO characters after every special character are getting replaced. 4. Adobe Fonts wont load

   Hello,

   While creating a document I was trying to discover a new font. I clicked Fonts > Find More and where a list of adobe fonts usually pops up, I got nothing. I tried creating a new text box, signing in and out of adobe, and closing / opening the document.

   Attached please find a screen grab of the issue.

   I'd love an assist if possible.

5. Clicking on bookmark in bookmark panel resizes view

   When you double-click on a bookmark in the Bookmarks Panel to go there, the view resizes to a random zoom. (Random as far as I can tell, anyway, there is probably a reason for the zoom level deep in the code).

   Not sure if this is a bug or a feature request, but navigating a long document via the Bookmarks Panel would be much more useful if the view stayed at the same zoom level.

6. InCopy crashes while saving document or checking in

   InCopy 14.4, MacOS 10.14.4
   InCopy document crashes all the time while saving or checking in a document.
   The document contains a lot of comments and cross references to other documents.
   I have already tried to copy all content into a new document. This does not help.
   I cannot work further on the document, so I need assistance!

   To identify the cause of this issue, we had started our investigation with the aim to resolve it. You might have also received email from us seeking more details to help in our investigation.

   We’ve concluded our investigation and came up with the finding : Either the issue is fixed in the latest release of InDesign or the issue was intermittent in nature at the time of its reporting and is not reproducible now.

   We recommend you to upgrade to the latest version of InDesign 2020.0.1 (if you’re not already on it). It contains a lot of stability fixes.

7. Некорректно работает пробная версия

   При запуске Indesign вылазит окошко с активацией пробной 7-дневной версии, после ее активации данное окно не пропадает и появляется на экране каждые 10 секунд. Что-либо редактировать в файле не получается. Помимо этого это окно с активацией еще и тормозит, какой смысл давать пользоваться демо-версией 7 дней, если она работает неправильно?

8. Custom Thai character set does not display properly in composite font

   In the Composite Font Editor, I defined a custom character set that includes all of the characters in Noto Sans Thai and tried specifying various Thai fonts to that character set as part of a composite font.

   However, regardless of the font I specified and regardless of what fonts I specified for the other parts of the composite font in certain circumstances three Thai tone characters would not display (U+0E48, U+0E49, and U+0E4C). As far as I can tell, they do display when they are above another tone character, but they do not display if they are the only tone character. I have confirmed that these characters are included in the custom Thai character set that I defined.

   I attached a PDF showing most of the characters in the custom Thai character set I defined and one of many composite font definitions that I tried.

   InDesign 14.0.2 (same thing happens in other versions) on Windows 7 (64-bit)

9. CC Libraries Saved Text issue

   In CC Libraries I have pre-set headlines text set with font and kerning. When I drag and drop desired headline into page layout, the font is changed out to something completely different. I've double check the save CC text file is it's as it's should be. I'm not sure what happened or how to fix it. These headlines I use on a daily bases have have hand kerning needed to each, which is time consuming to do each time.

   Screen shots are with a headline what I'm looking to change from "All you need." to "The real deal." Both are pre-set saved headlines in CC LIB. When I drag and drop the line it shows how it appears on the page. The font is white in the file, but to show you the file itself I've changed it to black. I've quick the program. 10. cc libraries deletes my text

    Hello.

    When adding my own text to a file in InDesign/CC Libraries (See attached image) - it deletes part of the text so I have to rewrite it again.

    Example:
    'Saks' becomes 'ks'

    There's a glitch and the text disappears.
    It's a collaboration work account, but can't it get more stable?

11. Updating to Mac OSX Mojave, Indesign now behaving slow and shortcut make new document does not work anymore

    Drawing a box, moving it around etc is now a kind of laggy. Moves but slow and kind of stuttering.

    The GUI overall, menus etc, behaves a bit slower as well. Not much but not as quick and responsive at it was in Sierra.

    Have tried de-activating GPU but that has no difference at all.

    I have the latest version, 14.0.2.
    Updated to Mojave because the Adobe chat support suggested that would help out some other issues I have had.
    One reason was that command + new shortcut stopped working. And now it stopped working again...

    Same thing happens in Illustrator so it seems to be something of a Mojave comparability?

    Other software (non-adobe) seems to be just fine though.

    Using a Imac 2017, i7, 32 ram, 1 tb ssd.

    I'm a big fan of technology but in Adobes case it seems as going back a few years actually was better having a lot fewer issues in the software.
    (For me it all started with the bloody CC subscription thing.)

12. Place; inconsequent text string in dialog

    When choosing File -> Place the dialog says "Open" on the selected item. In stead of "Place"
    In training on indesign i allways have to explain this. We can only Open indesign files, but we can Place other media. The dialog window should use the term Place.

13. InDesign Publish Online Not Clickable on Windows in Chrome or Firefox

    Working in: Adobe InDesign CC 2018

    We recently published a guide online using Adobe Publish online. The clickable elements (buttons, interactive elements) are not clickable on touchscreen PCs in Chrome or Firefox, but the touchscreen works (not as clean, but works). This issue is not present when the PC users are in safari or internet explorer. All content was created and published on a Mac, and no macs have had an issue.

    The content is private, but I can send the guide to anyone from Adobe on a person-person basis.

14. Text selection selects whole document AND cursor jumps to top of document after saving

    InCopy 14.0. MacOs Mojave 10.14.4
    I work in a icml-document which was assigned to me from InDesign. It contains references to other documents and a lot of comments (for the designer).
    After I have made the third or later comment, it becomes impossible to select text. InCopy selects the text from the top of the document upto the point where I click the mouse. When I try Option+Shift+Arrow, the cursor jumps to the top of the document. I can save the document, after which the issue is away until I have made a few extra comments, but which also puts the cursor again at the top of the document. This is unworkable, because I continually have to search the position I was editing.
    I have tried to switch from Adobe CC to iCloud Drive, this makes no difference.
    I have tried to copy all the content to a fresh document, this also makes no difference.
    I unfortunately cannot attach the document that I am working on, because this page does nog accept icml-files of a zipfile.

16. text overlap

    I'm using the Calendar Wizard template to create a calendar and quite often I find when I type text into the date window the text appears to overlap and I can't see what I'm typing (see image). This happens quite often and it's very frustrating. I'm using InDesign 2018 and I'm on a Mac with Mac OS Sierra. I would like to know how to fix this.

17. Key Commands not working

    Sometimes when I open up an InDesign document none of my key commands work (I'm on the most up to date version of InDesign CC).

    I end up having to close the file and restart the program to get them to work again. I have had instances in the past where I have 2 documents open at the same time and the key commands work in one but not the other.

    Does anyone else ever have this issue?

18. InDesign opens two files when only one selected.

    When I open a file, InDesign will open another file at the same time, one that I didn't select. Not a horrible inconvenience, but why is this happening?

19. InDesign 2019 keeps crashing when I change the document size in the properties panel.

    Every time I want to change the document/page size in the properties panel so I can have different page sizes in the document InDesign crashes. Over and over.

20. pasteboard

    Nearly every Indesign document I open now the pasteboard jumps about in size as soon as you do anything on the page. It's really distracting and interferes with my workflow.
