   To identify the cause of this issue, we had started our investigation with the aim to resolve it. You might have also received email from us seeking more details to help in our investigation.

   We’ve concluded our investigation and came up with the finding : Either the issue is fixed in the latest release of InDesign or the issue was intermittent in nature at the time of its reporting and is not reproducible now.

   We recommend you to upgrade to the latest version of InDesign 2020 (if you’re not already on it). It contains a lot of stability fixes.

   If you still face this issue even after updating to the latest version of InDesign, please submit the crash report to us. (The guidelines to submit crash are available at (https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/kb/submit-crash-reports.html)

2. [bug] UI won’t show up although app seems to have launched successfully

   macOS Catalina 10.15.5
   MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019)

   Nothing appears when I create a new document or open one. The app seems to be working though because it keeps adding a numeric increment every time I create a new file. InDesign is updated to latest build. Please advise.

4. 탐색기나 브릿지와의 호환

   인디자인 cc로 업데이트 한후 탐색기나 브릿지에서 이미지를 가지고 올때 드래그가 안되는 현상이 가끔 발생합니다. 너무 불편합니다. 문제 해결좀 해주세요.

5. Power Efficiency

   Since I've moved to working remotely entirely, I've noticed how quickly using several Adobe programs burns through my laptop battery. I'm running a brand new 16" Macbook Pro with the latest MacOS Catalina version, and I'm lucky if I get an hour and a half of battery life while running InDesign and Illustrator at the same time. When I review what is using the most battery life, my Mac lists InDesign, Illustrator, and Core Sync as the main culprits.

   Now, I understand that these programs at times are fairly graphically intensive, but the battery life I'm getting is absymal, and I'm not even currently working on artwork that is using a lot of complex effects; we're talking basic shape and stroke icons and simple text and shape layouts.

   Can you please work on optimizing the programs to prevent excessive battery draining? Core Sync in particular is really confusing; what exactly is it doing? I've even paused file syncing, but that hasn't seemed to do anything.

6. I can not export PDF files

   I can not export PDF files edited in INDESIGN (please check the attached printscreen) and that were created in a former version of the program, prior to the latest update in macOS Catalina Version 10.15.4
   I tried to reinstall the latest version of INDESIGN (15.0.2) and the problem is not solved.
   I will apreciated your help in detecting the cause for the problem and guiding me for the solution.

7. caption

   When using the ‘generate live caption’ -and i read more than one data-field- the caption is placed over several paragraphs.
   When this is used in combination with numbering paragraphs (to auto number the pictures) every line gets a new number e.g.

   So this is a pretty useless option right now, I have no idea how to fix this…

8. Intraktive Felder

   Bugs in den Fomularfelder.
   Schriftgrad steht auf automatisch. Wenn daraus ein Interaktives PDF generiere wird, wird der Text beim überlaufen das Feldes nicht kleiner wie es eigentlich sein sollte, sondern der Text läuft weiter und ist dann nicht mehr zu sehen!
   So kann die neue 15.1 x64 Version nicht verwenden werden!

9. jittery cursor

   My Indesign cursor flickers and is jittery when I have Photoshop running in the background. I'm running Catalina 10.15.4 on a 27" iMac Retina 5K. Never experienced this problem before this week.

10. CC Libraries panel gets stuck when Relinking

11. Misplaced dots in Nastaleeq Font rendering

    I'm using Adobe Indesign 2020 for an Urdu book. Most text is in Urdu and my font of choice is Mehr Nastaleeq. The text looks fine in MS Word using the font (see attached image) but In Design is not rendering certain words correctly (see attached image).

12. InDesign CC 2020 - Error trying to package editorial projects

    the last few days Ive been trying to package documents and I keep getting the same error (for whatever editorial project I have) that says "Indesign cannot package the document... Cannot copy necessary linked file(s)" (see printscreen) but all files are properly linked, in CMYK and 300dpi's (as I need them to be - never encounter this issue in over a decade of using Indesign) so Im kinda despairing here since Im on a schedule...
    Does anyone know how to help please??

13. STILL stuck in hand tool InDesign

    Stuck in hand tool... YES I read the existing thread... NO none of those fixes work. Adobe, PLEASE supply a REAL, PERMANENT fix.

    Running 2015 MacBook Pro Retina 15-inch, Mojave 10.14 2.8 GHz

    I have NO OTHER programs running. RESTARTING neither the app nor the computer helped. I can't perform ANY tasks in InDesign.

14. idlk lock files cause SharePoint to stop syncing

    I am experiencing exactly this issue (see link below).

    I don't understand how you have ignored so many user requests and done nothing about this issue in nearly 7 years!

15. Pages palette bug

    Hello,

    You will find a file in the attachment, please open it. Now open the page palette. Now try moving the pages in the correct order of the numbers by moving the thumbnails. You will not succeed!
    I reported this bug over a year ago and it still isn't fixed! (Indesign version 15.5.5)

    Edit: Unfortunately I cannot attach an Indesign file. Please provide me with an email address so that I can send you the file.

16. La vérification orthographique ne fonctionne plus. Les mots mal orthographiés ne sont plus surlignés !

    La vérification orthographique en français n'opère plus sous InDesign (y compris dans la correction d'anciens documents lors d'une nouvelle intervention) ! Merci de résoudre ce bug

17. BUG - 15.1.1 - Mac/PC - text threads don't display

    On both Mac and PC, the 15.1.1 version doesn't display text frame threads.

    When I create a new doc, threaded text frames DO show the threads. But when I open pre-existing documents, threads don't show at all. I've confirmed this behavior with a few other people, on both OS platforms. I'm running on Win10/64, [Version 10.0.18363.836]. The Mac users were on very recent OS's.

18. Animation issue on page load

    Hi,
    The issue is in the attached document.
    This problem is there for the CC 2018-2019 & 2020 Versions.
    Not sure why its taking years to fix this. Hope it will be addressed soon.

19. Extensions isn't working on the last Indesign versions

    Using Indesign 2019 or 2020 on the MacOS, trying to install any extension, opening the menu Window > Extensions > Selecting an extension: nothing happens.

20. Crash when generating Table of Contents

    Right what it says on the tin: When I try to generate a Table of Contents from a large Book file (about 14 chapters, maybe 180ish pages total) , InDesign abruptly crashes.
