book page numbering got error
The option "continue on next odd page" not function. The page number still continue from previous page which is in even number.

image box not working
When drawing image frame, the option to link an image no longer appears. Can only insert images in the document by using Place option from menu drop down. There should be a button that shows when I draw an image box that gives me option to link in a image from files- a new image or relink an image. Neither of these is available.

Preferences won't fully show text
Preference menu truncates the preferences option so it can not be read. Unable to resize window to see the text.

sharing
keep the option to remove the share button as long as it not working.
It is the 4th major update it it still does not work at all!!!!!you also removed the option to remove the button
also, the window pops up with black screen creating hangs to Indesign

Typekit - It conflicts with Fontexplorer
delete Typekit - It conflicts with Fontexplorer
Unchecking Typekit sync does not work.

InDesign crashes before it opens since lastupdate.
InDesign crashes before it opens since updating last week. Can only open it by holding down Shift Control Option Command and deleting the preferences.
1 voteWe have released InDesign 2025(v20.2.0.036) with many stability fixes. We recommend you upgrade to the latest version (if you’re not already on it) as it is more robust.

OpenAsset extension in ID 2020 for Mac
I installed the OpenAsset extension in my InDesign 2020 on a Mac running OS Catalina. My Exchange says that I should be able to launch it from Windows > Extensions > OpenAsset. There is no Windows menu option; under the Window option there is no Extensions submenu anymore.
Please advise. I use this extension extensively with work.

Placement cropping set to "Art" when relinking an Indd file to a pdf
A bug in Indesign 13.0.1. Mac OSX
Place an Indd document inside one.
Relink all instances of said link to a pdf file created from the linked Indd file.
The placement option changes to "Art" regardless of what has been the last option set when placing pdf:s.Expected to the pdf's retain cropping to media as is the case with Indd files OR retain cropping from last set option in the Place pdf dialog.
Pdfs cropped to "Art".

Interactive contextual menu no longer works properly
Since the latest version 21.0.1, the option enabling the creation of an hyperlink in Interactive menu has disappeared y/or no longer works properly.

New / Edit Table Style Crash
Creating a new table style using the hold-option-key + click page icon method and/or editing an existing table style in the palette crashes indesign instantly.

We’ve concluded our investigation and came up with the finding : Either the issue is fixed in the latest release of InDesign or the issue was intermittent in nature at the time of its reporting and is not reproducible now.
We recommend you to upgrade to the latest version of InDesign 2020.0.1 (if you’re not already on it). It contains a lot of stability fixes.

'Justify All Lines' Not Working Properly
The 'Justify All Lines' paragraph option does not work properly when applied to objects within a text frame. The attached example image should help to explain.

InDesign Share for Review @mentions are not sending emails to the contributors
People are leaving comments with the @mention option but the @person is not receiving those comments in email so they don't know that the comment was made.

Applying the Brush to the Arc Only
When we apply a brush, it applies it to the entire angled circle. When we draw an angular circle, can we add the option to apply brushes only to the arc? The color of the straight lines should be "none" so that the circle is not distorted.

Checkbox - sample button changes design
Interactive form (made in Indesign, not Acrobat, as I don't wanted to mix!) - I wanted an option box (checkbox) to have a cross instead of a circle. The only option was to take a "sample button" from the menu. I choose the option box with a cross (R10) and integrated it in the form. After exporting to Acrobat, firstly there was a cross when I clicked on the box. But when I was going onto another step (next box, print file, etc.) the cross was changed in a circle again. After the last update, the following things no longer work properly:
1. CC Libraries
(Crashes and shows either a reduced or enlarged section of the library and is no longer usable. won't save
InDesign 2021 randomly looses the ability to export or save. The dialog box won't even come up, even though the menu option isn't greyed out. This makes me loose all progress.

Unable to resize textbox from bottom
The Open Type option prevents us to resize the box from the bottom, which is annoying. Please move it slightly off-center. Thank you.

Export PDF: document bleed values unreadable

With interface theme "medium darker" (i.e. the second darkest option) the values of the bleed settings are unreadable in "Export PDF" dialog, when "use document bleed settings" is enabled.1 votePlease update InDesign to the latest version, InDesign CC 2018 (13.0) for the fix of the issue.
