  2. You seem to have gotten rid of the 'Recent Items' workspace!!! I loved that feature!@!

    I used to love being able to quickly switch to a visual look at my recent files and then load one and it would go back to my previous workspace... Its now gone!!!! Upsetting....

  3. GREP queries not saving correctly

    I'm having a GREP issue in InDesign CC2017.1, I tried saving three different GREP queries but it saved the first one three times. I tried about three times to go back and correct the other two, but it would just remain the first GREP query. It seemed to only affect the Find field, what I saved in the Change field seemed to be fine. The only way I could get them all to save correctly was to physically go into the GREP XML files and enter my GREP query and save. I'm using OSX 10.10.5

  4. indesign add text tutorial

    The new Indesign "add text" tutorial on the Adobe site has the incorrect practice files linked to it. I'd like to be able to download the correct files to work with. Thank you.

  5. InDesign - Incorrect Spelling Field in SpellCheck NOT FIXED CC2018

    The incorrect spelling field in spellcheck is still not fixed. I have had communication via twitter stating it has been and a screen shot showing difference between 2017 & 2018 releases.

    It maybe slightly better but still not bright enough. This could be a very expensive issue if an incorrect spelling slips through.

    Better still the field should be a different colour all together ie red text on white field background so this stands out as a possible error.

  6. amstelvarAlpha

    Activating font "AmstelvarAlpha" crashes inDesign CC 13.0. Having the font activated on startup also Crashes inDesign.

    Disabling the font fixes the problem.

    We’ve fixed the issue with InDesign’s latest Mar’18 update.
    Please download the latest InDesign version (InDesign CC 13.1) for the fix.

    List of crashes and other issues that have been fixed with the update can be found at the below provided link:

    If you are unable to see the update yet, go to Creative Cloud application, click on the context menu on the top right and click on Check for App Updates.

  7. publish online responsive design

    Indesign Publish Online publication, doesn’t work properly on a small screen.
    On a small screen, or in a small webframe, some of the buttons disappear
    ( thumbnails, zoom in, share, download etc.) and are not accessible in another way.

  9. changing subset fonts in the Control Bar

    On occasion, when changing the subset font (or font variant) via the upper Control Bar, the change doesn't register on the document. The character palette also doesn't register the change (they should match).

  10. Part of the content disappears in high detail mode (300% and more)

    This bug is appear after my last update to CC 2018 in October 2017. Part of content is disappears when I change scale toward high details. In example, from 200 to 300%. Moving a sheet or another manipulation are not help. The computer is good enough with 16Gb memory under Windows 10.

  12. EPUB Export: Toc wird nicht korrekt ausgegeben

    Ausgang: InDesign Dokument mit automatischen Inhaltsverzeichnis. Titel befinden sich nicht im gleichen Textrahmen (screenshot Layout).
    Das generierte toc sieht gut aus.
    Beim EPUB Export wird das Toc, aber nicht korrekt in der Reihenfolge ausgegeben. Siehe Screenshot Toc_Bug-ID: links das Toc im InDesign; rechts das toc.xhtml aus dem EPUB.

  13. Text engine buffer breaks if text contains diacritics

    I regularily edit pages with fairly long text in Icelandic, a language which uses diacritics quite a bit. If the text gets to be more than a few hundred words, the text engine buffer starts acting up, especially when using accents. It will enter two or more accents in addition to the intended accented letter, sometimes mangling the order of letters too, always being laggy too. This is NOT a new problem, but I feel it has become much more pronounced in CC 2018.

  14. When installing InDesign CS6 on (Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6) I get an error.

    Tring to install InDesign CS6 and get the error attached on Screen Shot. Things I have tried, I have put the download in the trash and tried to download again, this did not work, I have also rebooted before initialization of download and install, this still does not work.

  15. Nach Installation von Indesign ist die Tastaturbelegung vertauscht (Querty statt Quertz)

    Nach der Installation von Indesign CC ist die englische Tastatur installiert obwohl eine deutsche Installation eingestellt war. Die Funktionalitäten sind alle auf Deutsch. Leider finde ich nirgends die Einstellung, wo ich es umstellen kann. Kann mir da Jemand helfen?

  16. Phantom lines are appearing on export that do show up on print

    Phantom lines around boxes are appearing on export. Some of these are appearing when printed from Nitro Pro. This may be a Nitro Pro issue?

  18. Cannot choose "Page Number: Before Entry/No Page Number" when creating table of contents

    1. Version: 13.0 (macOS High Sierra)
    2. Steps: From a new document, choose Layout > Table of Contents, from "Page Number" drop down, choose "Before Entry" or "No Page Number".
    3. Expected result: change to "Before Entry" or "No Page Number".
    4. Actual result: Stays at "After Entry" - no change happens

    Can you please add a small video (on WeTransfer/Youtube/Dropbox) and post a link here so that it can be looked into?
    We have tried to reproduce it but unable to do it.
