  2. reverse layout crash

    To identify the cause of this issue, we had started our investigation with the aim to resolve it. You might have also received an email from us seeking more details to help in our investigation.

    We’ve concluded our investigation and came up with the finding: Either the issue is fixed in the latest release of InDesign or the issue was intermittent in nature at the time of its reporting and is not reproducible now.

    We recommend you upgrade to the latest version of InDesign 2023(v18.2.1.455) as it is more robust and contains a lot of bug fixes.

    Hi,
    Thanks for your patience all this while. We investigated on this issue and below are our findings. The problem with this bug is related to ages old standards difference between different operating systems.
    On Mac (OS X and later) there is only one way to identify line end i.e by using a single character LF, while on Windows (and DOS before it) uses a pair of CR and LF characters to terminate lines.
    Hence when writing them down to any text file these characters are written as such.
    Windows, can therefore dedicate LF to understand soft return separately while Mac cannot do any
    such thing. Because of this when we read it back from the text file the LF character is interpreted as line break (or new para) on Mac and soft return on Windows.

    These files require conversion when moved from one OS to another

  5. Text box disappears, styling not displayed in real time

  7. Indesign crashes when pressing the hot keys for copy

  8. Create outlines in a document with conditional text crashes

  10. Justifying frame or change leading causes text to change

    > >This is happening from time to time. The hyphenation of the word inside the red stroke is removed simply by setting the text frame vertical justfication to 'Justify' or by changing the leading of the paragraph. These modifications should not mess with the text and hyphenation.   14. ID will crash on awake (MacOS)

  15. Maintain vertical alignment textframe when using Text Wrap
