Share for Review SYNC Broken
I use "Share" > "Share for Review" on a Program for review by multiple departments for edits. I received notifications of over 200 edits, but upon opening the InDesign file to begin changes, the "Window" > "Comments" > "Review" Panel data is empty and again says "Create Review".
So the connection from my online review and the source InDesign is broken. Additionally, there is no option to save that online version as a pdf to import the comments via that option in "Window" > "Comments" > "PDF Comments"
We’ve released an update to InDesign – 15.1.2
Please update to this latest version and see if the issues you were facing earlier have got resolved.
Remember to check how you are signed into your CC account and if need be, sign out and sign in again. Since Share for Review is a service and dependent on your login to your Adobe ID account, it is important that CCD app is working well with your credentials.

I was in the middle of working through all my reviews from a client on a magazine and all the sudden all of them are gone... and it says there are no comments for review?!!! There were hundreds of design notes.... and gone. Any way I can recover those without going back to the client??

I have had this same issue as Dusty even on the newest file. The crummy part is I was trying to turn the files into a book, in order to save them into a book indb (resaving all the files and breaking all the links) It would be really good to be able to paste the link to establish the connection.

I have the same issue.
The sync between InDesign and the comments file is broken. This is an annual review letter, which is very time-sensitive. The file and all the comments are still visible on assets.adobe but I can't download a pdf there either. Very Frustrating!
There are too many comments for this process to be repeated. Is there no way to just get a copy of the pdf file already online?
PLEASE RESOLVE THIS ISSUE!

I just experienced the same problem. I did a share review link. My client made the pinned edits he wants. I opened my document and the "shared link" is missing... Panel data is empty and again says "Create Review". I am trying to convince my client to use this process, but know I am not sure how to resolve so He still has confidence that this the direction to go with his work with me.

Hi Dusty,
did you save the document with "Save As" ?
Then it will lose all the comments in the Review panel.
Even with "Save As" to the same name this issue will occur.Regards,
Uwe Laubender

Here is more information on this document. It was created on 3/27. It went through many edits using a pdf shared for review. After all of the drafts it was finalized for a virtual commencement ceremony on 5/13.
After the ceremony there was a request for a final version with any persons that changed graduation or honors status to live online. I created a new version of the file, shared it for review and saved it on 7/1.
Then, I returned to that same saved document after comments were shared on 7/8 but the review panel is empty.
So, since there is a missing connection from the document cloud and my file, can a development be made to paste the published link into InDesign's share for review panel to re-establish that connection?
This would be a great help for re-linking in case the file is moved, renamed or not saved after being shared for review.
It is possible that I moved the file or renamed it, but I can't be sure. There are still edits coming in and the file lives on a network so the file must be closed daily, so leaving it open is not an option for my situation.
