Table header is missing after copy/paste
When I copy/paste a table, the header line is missing. My workaround is to change the height of the next line, then the header line appears. Then I change the height back to the actual height.
Issue has been fixed in InDesign 13.0 release. If you need a fix in 12.1 version, please follow kbdoc at https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/kb/troubleshoot-issues-indesign-cc-2017_1.html

Hi Bastian,
I am not sure which fix you are referring, please upgrade to Latest InDesign ID CC 2018.1, the issues are fixed in it.
Thanks

Hello Aman,
in my main office I use the 12.1.0.56 x64 Build. That might explain the
problem.
Unfortunately that company can't use the permanently updating CC version
because of the firewall. However, I've there applied for the 2018 version
(for a while now...) which will then probably fix the problem. Keeping
fingers crossed that I'll have it before your 2019 release ;-)At home I have the regular CC subscription for freelancing - but as I (so
far) never worked with tables there, I didn't know the issue was already
fixed.
Anyway, thanks for your respond :-)Have a nice day!

Hi Helga, this is a bug in a specific version of InDesign.
If you are with InDesign CC 2017.1 there is a special fix for this that is not distributed through the Creative Cloud Desktop app. You can find the fix here:https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/kb/troubleshoot-issues-indesign-cc-2017_1.html

If aid:theader is used for XML-import, the table header is not displayed.
