>>>I'm having an issue with catalogs I'm working with. When I open the most recent version of an INDD file, there is jumbled text in the headings and subheadings, even though the PDF exported fine when the file was last opened. Advice?

Text originated from MS Word yields problematic results when exported to HTML (excessive <span> statements)
>>I’ve stumbled upon a bug evident in text originated from MS-Word, which affects the HTML structure when exported from InDesign. Originally I encountered it with Hebrew text in heavily-style-driven paragraphs, however I re-created it in a completely “clean” style environment as well:
>>(1) Create a new file in MS-Word. Type some text into it (as “Lorem Ipsum”).
>>(2) Copy the text and Paste into InDesign.
>>(3) Reset the Paragraph Style; then apply a Character style to the text (it could be a Character style with no attributes).
>>(4) Paste the same text into Notepad, then

Text box adds extra space...?
>>>Text Boxes are adding extra space. I do not have any space after or tabs or anything else in my paragraphs.
>>I am very keen on having all my text boxes fit to perfect size especially for this file because I am creating a fillable form and don't want oversized text boxes. I also keep them to their size to make sure everything is perfect.

Interaction between Text Wrap, Optical Margin Alignment and Numbered List
>>When a text frame with activated Optical Margin Alignment containing numbered list wraps around another text frame the numbering is incorrectly aligned. The affected numbers noticeably stick outside of the text frame and thus create unpleasant left margin. Only numbering on wrapped lines is affected, numbering below the wrap behaves as expected.
>>Similarly, if the text frame is modified so as its border lays entirely outside of the area affected by wrapping offset, the optical alignment of the numbering behaves as expected. This at least provides some workaround.
>>I am attaching a screenshot of the behaviour as

InDesign 15.1.4 / MacOS 10.13.6 / Auslassen von verbundenen Textrahmen

Preflight panel Overset text not showing page number

> Preflight panel Overset text not identifying page number>For a couple different files, I got an error message in the Preflight panel, indicating the presence of Overset text, but NO page number. In both files, it said it was an issue with footnotes, but not where. One of the suggested fixes is to allow Split Footnotes, but that option is already checked.

Unable to drag & drop images within text frame through custom plugin on Indesign CC2020

>>We didn't made any update to the code, the same option works fine till CC2019. Is there any known issue with CC2020 sdk for drag & drop?

Fixing images and text wrap
>>>Since a longer time there is a bug, that makes it impossible to let the text flow around beside an image, while this image is fixed with a anchor mark. The line, where the anchor mark is set doesn’t flow around. That makes an unhappy compronise necessary: Either you don’t set the anchor mark and the image doesn’t flow with the text or you set an manual word wrap.
>>This should be fixed because in other programs it also works.

Incopy with Conditional text not holding
>>>I design electrical manuals in InDesign, some text is shared between books using InCopy. Some of the text is product specific so I use Conditions to turn that text off and on. But when I create the Condition in one book and then open the book with shared InCopy links, that text and everything after it is now that same Condition.
>
> I tried everything to fix this. The only workaround I found to work is making the Paragraph Return before the text I want Conditioned and leaving the Paragraph return after my text Unconditional will work.1 vote -
