text shadow
I have a text box with Drop Shadow Effect on the text itself. When I edit the text, the shadow does not change. I discovered quite accidentally that Undo (CTRL+Z) then Redo (CTRL+SHIFT+Z) fixes the issue.
However, when I change the angle of the object (text box), the text moves but the shadow remains in place. I cannot fix it even by adjusting the Effect angle options.
I have another issue where I have two separate text boxes on the same page with the exact same font and supposed font size, but the text is quite obviously not actually the same size.
I have ID 16.0.2 x64

Adobe has to fix this! This is moronic! It is easier not to use the 'Object Styles' for text shadows at all and simply apply the style manually each time. If it works in Photoshop and Illustrator, they can certainly make it work here.

I am also experiencing this I have a text box filled with black, in the effects panel I've set fill to 15% and applied a drop shadow to the text. I then updated the text and as you can see, the shadow still references the previous text. If I copy the text box into a new document the shadow gets updated and I can then copy it back into the original document. If I then try to edit the text in the new document, the same issue exists. Although I'm getting two paragraph styles carried over to the new document, a clue perhaps?

Wow. Thanks for the Undo, Redo tip. I've been struggling with this for a while. Drives me crazy !
