Index entries lost when importing a .docx file with text frames into InDesign
InDesign version: CC 2018
MS Word version: 2013
When I import a .docx file that uses text boxes/text frames/shapes into InDesign, most of the index entries within the .docx file is lost. When I import the same .docx file after removing all the shapes, all index entries remain intact.
I've attached reference .docx and .indd files so that you can see what I mean. The .docx file (loremipsumindex.docx) has five index entries, that are lost when imported to InDesign (loremipsumindex.indd). On removing the text box from the .docx file (loremipsumindexwotxtbox.docx), the index entries are imported properly (loremipsumindexwotxtbox.indd).
My assumption is that this is an InDesign bug. Let me know if there's a fix for this.

InDesign 2023 has same issue, certain index markers are not imported, see https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign-discussions/importing-word-files-docx-with-index-markers/m-p/11111932

I can confirm the bug with InDesign CS6, CC2015 and CC2021 on both Windows and Mac.
I've made a sample file myself, exactly the same issue here. Index entries are ignored until the last anchored text frame appeared. So far, I've tried:
- converting docx to doc
- converting docx to rtf
- importing with CS6, CC2016, CC2017 (tried both Windows + Mac versions)
- cleaning the docx with words internal "clean document" functionPlease provide a fix for this.
