JavaScript not work When mounting /Volumes/users
MacOS 環境で /Volumes/users が存在すると(サーバーに users でマウントすると）ユーザーが作成した javascript (.jsx ファイル）が動作しなくなります
/Users/(UserName)/Library/Preferences/Adobe InDesign/Version 15.0-J/ja_JP/Scripts/Scripts Panel/(ScriptName).jsx
が /Volumes/users フォルダにマウントしていないと正常動作するのですが /Volumes/users フォルダが存在しているとエラーのビープ音がなって何も行われないです
/Volumes/users フォルダにマウントしていると Macintosgh HD の /Users フォルダが /Volumes/Users フォルダと見なされているようです

Removable Device Warning
I have been working with InDesign for many years and have learned to store my files on a removable device. This is because I have found them to be more stable than my computer and if the computer goes down, the data is fine. Now, I find myself getting a constant message telling me that I should not do this (which is Adobe's opinion and they are entitled to it) with a check box for me to select if I don't want to receive these messages again. Please bring back the Layout Adjustment!!!
I'm a typesetter that misses this feature to adjust the sink on Chapter Openers. It is the main reason why I do not use CC19.

cmd-J does not make the correct page active
In a document with facing pages and a wider-than-usual artboard (10in):
When using cmd-J to navigate to the left page of a spread, the page number indicator at lower left displays the right-hand page number, and the right-hand page is what's active.
This does not happen at all magnifications.

Automatic insertion of columns upon text alteration, always in the same spot on the page; this occurs irrespective of style (paragraph, char
Posted that this was happening last update: this column "Layout" occurs no matter what style (paragraph or character) is selected, and the column layout affects all text placed over the area where the automatic "columns" occurs, in other words, anything adjusted or placed over the area (positioned always two columns at approx 4" down the page).
What seems to trigger the insertion of this four-line column layout is any text alteration - it gets inserted on random pages!
I have checked all "unseen" screens, object styles, text box controls, preferences. I am completely flummoxed (user of Adobe InDesign over 25…1 vote -
The QR code generator is missing the field for a fax number
The QR code generator (InDesign 2019 & 2020) is missing the field for a fax number. It would be great if this would be integrated! Thank you in advance!

PDF Hyphenation Bug when line has cross-reference, hyphenated word, and option is to create Tagged PDF
When exporting an InDesign document to PDF, the hyphenated word is displayed incorrectly in the output PDF.
It only happens with a line that has cross-reference object, hyphenated word, and option is to create Tagged PDF.
InDesign 2019 (14.0.1) (MAC/PC) . Also tried it with previous versions and it has the same issue.

Workspace and documents will not open
My (mac) laptop battery died before I could plug it in. I restarted the computer, opened InDesign, and it appears to start up fine, however no workspace will show up and no documents will open. I cannot work. I restarted, then I opened while holding keys to delete preferences and restarted again and nothing.

animation file from indesign, 'recovered files' every time in trash (indesign didn't crash)
when I save an animation file from indesign, I get a 'recovered file' every time I restart my Mac. I try to remove it, but then my document starts going crazy. (indesign didn't crash, it just happens)
animation in indesign works fine, but the maps keep coming and it is irritating.

maximum open indesign documents
Hello Guys!
I have a problem with indesign. I cant open more than 140 documents at ones in indesign but i need all my 146 files to export it with twixl for my interactive app.
Can i change the maximum of documents that i can open at ones???Please help me, i need finish my work tomorrow, thanks!

Fußnotentext verschwindet. Meist die auf der ersten Seiten, leider aber zwischendurch. Nummerierung bleibt erhalten.

Master Pages text frame
Version 14.0.3 in Windows 7.
- Created a documents with facing pages and primary text frames
- Master A with text frame rule so can visible.
- Created Master B which is based on Master A
- Resized text frame of Master A
- Impact on master B.. Text frame shifted out of page area.
This strange behavior is while resizing using mouse drag. If resize through control panel it's perfect. But if move both mouse and through x,y control panel same strange behavior.

I'm trying to spellcheck but it is defaulting to Dutch 2005 reform even though its set to English UK in preferences. How do I fix this as it used to be fine?

Windows 10 > Indesign 15.0.1 hidden print window.
When trying to print on Indesign version 15.0.1, for windows 10, the pop-up windows opens on the back, hidden.
How to solve without force the closure of the program?
Any shortcut known?This didn't happen on version 15.0.0.

Captions box no longer auto fits to box
When I use the captions feature on a place image, the caption box no longer auto-fits to the size of the image boundary, but rather to the actual size of the image, even though it is scaled down in the box. This was not an issue in previous versions.

password protection makes it impossible to watch PDF on iOS
There is a bug in exporting a protected PDF to iOS Adobe Acrobat Reader. If I put a password protection for printing, text editing and content coping in the PDF, the Acrobat Reader on iOS can't show the file. The app crashes or every (!) page needs between 4 and 7 minutes to show up. Within this 4-7 minutes the page is simply grey or white. If I export the same InDesign document without password protection, the iOS Adobe Reader shows it perfectly and normal. As a workaround I exported it without password protection, opened on the Mac in Acrobat…

Export jpg
Hi!
When I create banners in Indesign 14.0.1 I use hires images as TIF and exporting it to JPG. The final files in JPG end up with corrupt pixels. I have to place a lowres JPG in Indesign to be able to export it as a correct JPG.11 votesThanks for reporting the issue. We will review it.

Accessibility and data merge
Windows 10, ID 14.0.2 (2019), Acrobat Pro DC 2019.012.20036.
Using Data Merge to create many pages of text from a large Excel file. Each row produces two pages. I have set up all the tags, reading order, bookmarks etc for the file but they are not reproduced for subsequent pages. When testing in Acrobat, the screen reader only reads the first two pages. There are no tags or bookmarks for subsequent pages. Can this be resolved?4 votes -
InDesign 14.0.2 constant spinning beachball - especially on text related commands
Working in InDesign 14.0.2 on High Sierra, (single computer home network) the programme is exceptionally slow - taking about 10 seconds (of beachballing) to select a line of copy. Clicking between objects takes 5-10 seconds also. This is happening on my Mac Book Pro and iMac, both running High Sierra - all other programmes are working normally. I have tried trashing my preferences and uninstalling etc, but nothing has improved the lagging issue. I have had to revert to the 2018 version to get my work done.
