screen redraw errors: content disappears while editing
While editing content (most usually, editing type), all the type disappears from the screen, so you can't see what's being edited. Scrolling up or down until the affected area is off screen, then scrolling back down fixes the problem, but it's a huge time suck to have to deal with this and all the other bugs.

Experiencing this issue too since I got my new M1 Macbook Pro (16", 2021, Monterrey 12.0.1). It happens whether GPU rendering is on or not, and whether Animated Zoom is on or not.

This happens constantly on the M1 Mac Mini, InDesign Version 17.0, just installed today. The product is basically UNUSABLE as text shears while scrolling vertically, and disappears completely when typing.
I tried all the graphics performances preferences including GPU, to no avail. It is clearly a display performance / buffering issue, as there's nothing in the editing itself that's broken, just the redrawing to the screen. YOU NEED TO FIX THIS.
