InDesign leading changes not applying
Whenever I change the leading (line spacing) under Character styles, the document won't accept the changes. I tried saving, quitting the program, and reopening, but the problem persists. Doesn't matter whether I apply the style to a single line or multiple lines.

Performance: Import documents / style apply
my MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016) is super slow when importing word documents, search and replace styles or adapting styles. Does it improve when changing to the Mojave system? Or is there a conflict with FontExplorer X Pro. Any suggestions are welcome. I'm suffering…

Anchored item with white overprints
This is a 'white' bug.
I regularly use anchoring to keep items aligned and for spacing.
Text is black. Art or tables need white in them to knockout the shade beneath.When a table is placed inline or a piece of art is anchored in a text box that has a color or a border... the white is ignored in the anchored object.
There is no reason to ignore a color just because it is inline or anchored.
This bug forces me to layer the object on a different layer, causing extra work in keeping the item aligned after edits.

Exporting to PDF with print marks increases page size
Using CC InDesign 2019 14.0.3 on a Mojave 10.14.6 MacBookPro
For some unknown reason, for the last 3 months or so every time I export a pdf with any print marks, the page size is increased by 4.4mm on every side of the page ... eg I set up a document as A4 (297x210mm) with a 3mm bleed, set my content and then export it with print marks I get a 4.4mm increase on each side of every page - ie the resulting document size is 311.8 x 224.8mm instead of 303 x 216mm

Use of tab key is inserting unwanted numerals into line of copy instead of tab
When working in InDesign v 14.0.3 x64 on my PC, I've encountered a new problem when trying to align text in a bulleted list using the "tab" key.
After keying in the text in my list, I create alignment by first inserting tabs using the Type > Tabs command, and then using the "Tab" key on my keyboard to align second and third lines of text. Master Page
When setting up multiple 2 page spread master pages, there is an issue with graphics overlapping onto other master pages when 'Facing Pages' is switched on.
For example - Master Page A is blank, and Master Page B has a green box along the top of the page.
When the Master Page A is placed next to a Master Page B, the green box graphic spreads onto Master Page A as well.

4 votesWe have released InDesign CC2019.0.2 with lot of bug fixes. If you are not on 14.0.2.324 then I would recommend you to upgrade to latest version as it is more robust.

I have Adobe InDesign 14.0.2 x64, and my book chapters keep showing a spinning wheel when i try to make any change
I have Adobe InDesign 14.0.2 x64, and my book chapters keep showing a spinning wheel when i try to make any change. Say I need to add one letter, after doing so the ball has to spin 10 times until i can do anything else. This is extremely time consuming and is wasting my time when I have to wait 2 minutes after any tiny change before I can make another. I have seen others posting issues about this over a year ago. All fixes people have suggested do nothing for me. Please help.

Font Issue In Adobe InDesign version 14.0.1
Currently encountering an error within InDesign where certain fonts are displaying a explination mark and not working correctly. However, they appear as installed when using InDesign (please see attached)
The current workaround is to re-link the fonts to InDesign. Is there a known fix for this issue? Windows 10, InDesign version 14.0.1

CPU over 100% - inDesign not usable
Within in hour of using inDesign the CPU goes up to 1000% of CPU usage without any reasons. No matter if I'm working on a blanc space or big files, it react over time.
Quick solution is to restart the application, within 1 hour of using the CPU goes up again.
I reinstalled the application and work on a new account.
Specs:
iMac (Retina 5K, 27 Zoll, End 2015)
4 GHz Intel Core i7
32 GB 1867 MHz DDR3

Text Alignment Issues on PDF
Mac OS (Mojave version 10.14.6) 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7, Radeon Pro Vega 16 4 GB Intell UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB
InDesing CC totally up to date, uninstalled and cleaned multiple times.
When I export a PDF, both with my own settings and the default High Quality Print the text will randomly not be aligned, for example I exported the attached page 5 times with the exact same setting and sometimes it was fine but a few it was messed up. No noticeable pattern, happens when exporting Print PDF and Interactive.

Interactive Buttons "go to destination" stop at page 114
Hi,
i cannot select more than 114 pages as a destination of an interactive button in a document with a total of 120 pages. I can't see why that's not possible, so this must be a bug?1 vote -
eyedropper tool
Using the eyedropper tool to select a color from the desired text is not working properly. Only strokes are painted with the desired color, not the text. It should like Illustrator's eyedropper tool which works perfectly. I have to use Illustrator's eyedropper tool to get the desired results I want.

When I load styles from an existing document (one that got designed for me, and therefore has lots of styles that I need to reuse) the style in the new document contains lots of random additional settings.
The doc in question is MSM - Front and Back matter (attached). To recreate the issue, simply export any paragraph (or other) style into a different document and check out the extraneous formatting.

PDF comment two-way sync
Let InDesign sync the status of comments (resloved/unresolved/...) back to the PDF.
OR let InDesign export PDF's with unresolved comments.

Pointer cursor stuck in hand mode when holding Cmnd with Pen Tool
I am using the Pen Tool and holding Command to get the pointer. My cursor is shown as a hand, and does not allow me to select path points. Other users have flagged this bug. Here are my details and screenshot.

Link updates not registering in Indesign Mac
Indesign 14.0.3 (latest offered)
A text box is dynamically linked [place and link] from a master document to a child document. When the text is changed in the master document, the linked box in the child detects that it has been changed, and prompts user to update the placed box with a missing/updated link warning and an ! icon on the linked box. This is the expected behavior, and this works properly on Windows version of Indesign.
This function is not working on the Mac version of Indesign. Changes to the master are not being detected by the linked copy…

InDesign CC 2019 No search results when trying to place a file
When I try to place a file in InDesign CC 2019 (or ANY CC 2019 app) and I enter text in the search box to find my file it defaults to "my Mac" instead of the folder I want it to search. Then when I select the folder I want to search it yields no results even though I KNOW there is a file there containing that word in the name. The folder I want it to search is on a remote server. - Would expect that the cursor could be used to select all or part of an imported PDF comment
