Hyphenation in Swedish adds letters
The Swedish word "mässing" is given a third "s" when hyphenated (mäss-sing). InDesign 15.0, MacOSX 10.14.6 (18G95).

commentedThe same problem occurs with other words: consonants are added where they should not. E.g. "kall-lade". InDesign 16.4 x64, Windows 10.

 commentedHi Thomas,
your issue is another one. A BUG that is only visible with PDF Export when:
[a] The "Adobe World-Ready Composer" is used in the applied paragraph style
[b] When option "Create PDF Tags" is enabled when exporting to Adobe PDF (Print).
[c] Other factors like style overrides with "language".See this discussion at the Adobe InDesign Forum: Automatic hyphens randomly have letters in them

commentedI have a similar problem with every hyphenation in all foreign languages - additionally to German (mother tongue) I create my documents in French, Nederlands, Spanish and Czech. When the text has the country-specific spellchecking (e.g. French text with French spellchecking) the result in the PDF are different letters (not always the same) "above" the hyphenation - see attachment. Workaround: I give all my foreign language texts the German spellchecking. Problem with this - of course: the hyphenations are at the wrong place. Indesign CS6 v8.0.1, Windows 7, Font family: Helvetica Neue LT Pro
