  1. Through the single page PDF created from facing the text is displayed

    Through the PDF size under specified conditions, will display the text. Print out also confirmed.

  2. Language issue

    Is there a way to change the Korean version of this Adobe Indesign to English version. I am a Filipino newsletter lay-out-editor and using the Korean version makes my work totally impossible. Thank you.

  3. Filenames and Thumbnails on the Home screen are on top of each other

    Version of Adobe InDesign, InCopy or InDesign Server: 16.0
    Steps to reproduce the issues: Go to Home Screen
    Expected result: See recent files
    Actual result: I see the recent files but I can't read the filenames properly because they are on top of each other. The thumbnails are not aligned as well. Please see attached screenshot.

  4. Effects / blending mode

    InDesign 16.4 x Windows 64: Cannot scroll the list of blending modes with arrow key(s) and preview the results in a selected box. I've always been able to do this in the past (InDesign CS 2, 4, 6). New laptop, new Adobe subscription. I can 'scroll,' but no preview. Window closes each time, so at least 30 clicks to re-open and select through the list.

    Hi everyone,

    The behavior mentioned here has been there since InDesign CC (that came out more than 8 years ago in 2013).
    Behavior in InDesign CS6 (and earlier) was different.

    Please confirm if you were seeing different behavior in any of the CC versions. Illustrator also behaves the same way.

  5. [BUG] PDF size is to high using the export feature

    With this post I would like to report an issue regarding the export feature of Adobe Indesign. When exporting a PDF-file from Indesign, the PDF file size is unnecessary to high and the document contains a lot of overhead. After the same pdf-file is resaved using the default Os X preview application, the overhead is removed and the file size is correct. Please fix this issue.

  6. fontproblem – strange ligatures – invisible font

    Hi there

    In InDesign CC23 we have the problem that we sometimes have some issues with ligatures. We have the font Minion Pro activates in the Library. and somehow have the problem, that the ligatures appear to be a completely different character, see the screenshot.
    the problem could be resolved by deleting the Minion Font from the application folder > Ressources > Required > Fonts. the Ligatures changed back to the correct character. Or i deactivate the minion regular in the finder. But i need the font for other apps as well, so i need to activate the regular font…

  7. Color Picker causes InDesign to Crash

    Every time I try to use the eyedrop Color Picker tool in InDesign it causes InDesign to crash and close. It will not allow me to drag the eyedropper to pick up a color, and if I try to drag the eyedropper it makes the color box freeze to where I cannot click "Ok" or "Cancel" and I need to press the "Esc" button on my keyboard to get out of the color box.     If you are still seeing this crash happening in InDesign, please do the following:

    1. do a screen recording
    2. attach a test file
    3. mention the OS version, InDesign version.

    Put the screen recording and test file in a shared drive and share the location of the same with us.

  8. Block Html Content

    A few months ago Adobe blocked Html content from most sites. I use a lot of Html content in my presentations.
    I would like this type of content blocking to be reviewed.

  9. Try to export a small file size pdf but get error message everytime

    The previous InDesign document exported to a pdf no problem but for some reason next updated version will not! INFURIATING...I'm on a magazine deadline too!!!

    osx 10.14.6 with 2 rounds of recent Mojave updates / total nightmares/ debacles caused by apple and apparently has lingering issues/bugs.

  11. Indesign so slow with certain files

    I updated to Big Sur and CC21... now a lot of my indesign files don't work, super slow, lagging, any links display as pixelated... I can't use files that have taken me hours upon hours to create. I have been on phone calls and screen sharing with Adobe for over 4 hours and no solve. Have had 2 hours of screen share with Mac, no solve. Help!?

    Not an idea. a bug.

    Come on guys this is basic stuff - can barely layout info like this.

  13. Trackpad scroll issues with InDesign v15.0.2 on new MacBook Pro 16" 2.4 GHz 8 core processor 64GBmemory. .

    InDesign v15.0.2 Trackpad is not scrolling well on new MacBook Pro 16" 2.4 GHz 8 core processor 64GBmemory. I just upgraded my equipment to top of line MacBook Pro. and bought the subscription to Adobe all apps. I have been using 2013 MacbookPro with CS6. My files are unresponsive in Indesign. I typically collage with 600+ photoshop images to make is single design on multiple pages. On my old system I was not running into problems except new OS was incompatible with CS6.

    This is unacceptable. I called Adobe and they were not helpful.

  14. Updating to Mac OSX Mojave, Indesign now behaving slow and shortcut make new document does not work anymore

    Drawing a box, moving it around etc is now a kind of laggy. Moves but slow and kind of stuttering.

    The GUI overall, menus etc, behaves a bit slower as well. Not much but not as quick and responsive at it was in Sierra.

    Have tried de-activating GPU but that has no difference at all.

    I have the latest version, 14.0.2.
    Updated to Mojave because the Adobe chat support suggested that would help out some other issues I have had.
    One reason was that command + new shortcut stopped working. And now it stopped working again...

  15. Workspace dissapears when selecting objects

    When selecting objects with the mouse cursor or selecting text, the workspace disappears and everything becomes white. Once the process is finished, everything appears normal again.
    I use Adobe Indesign 19.1, macOS14.2.1, Apple M1 Max 32GB.

  16. zoom scroll pan

    Make it so Windows version of Adobe programs are capable of all gestures such as zoom and pan/scroll. This works perfectly fine on my MacBook, but on Windows I'm only able to chose if I can scroll/pan or zoom, but cannot zoom and pan. This makes working with the program extremely difficult and infuriating when it's such a simple feature that works in every other basic program.

  17. Shortcut CMD + S increasing the file size.

    Files created within InDesign are increasing in size dramatically with every CMD + S.

    It is not the files linked in the document which are 100 % to the ration they are seen and resetting the cache ~/Library>Caches> Adobe Indesign does not have any effect.

    To test this we have created a quick document with an Adobe Support Technician Saptam (see image-01). This document is 1.5 MB and when the design elements have been deleted and the file saved CMD +S you can see the file size doesn't go down (see image-02).

  18. right to left direction missing from my paragraph panel

    I'm working with CC 2019 and my paragraph panel doesn't have the text direction options, only world-composer options which helps somewhat but isn't enough for my layout needs, any ideas why it's missing? I'm attaching a screenshot of what I see.

    Tested on version: 20.2 x64

    Dear Adobe Support Team,

    When importing high bit-depth images—such as 16-bit grayscale or 48-bit/64-bit color (TIFF/PSD formats)—into Adobe InDesign, we’ve observed that even when disabling down-sampling and compression, the exported PDF converts these images to 8-bit grayscale or 8 bits per component for color (i.e., 24-bit RGB or 32-bit CMYK), rather than preserving the original bit depth.
