Would like to be able to share a pdf (for proofing/approval) straight out of InDesign. Exceeding valuable as it skips steps.
In the busy print workflow environment it would be nice to skip steps when providing clients with proofs for review/approval. Creating and sending a pdf proof to clients straight out of InDesign would be just the thing. Currently, as you know, you export the InDesign document as a pdf, open it up in Acrobat and share the file for review. While the Acrobat function is fine (although we've noticed lag time in clients receiving the proof) in the face-pace environment of a printshop, where many of these proofs are processed, it would be a time saver.

Add option to share direct link to specific page in PublishOnline
We love PublishOnline but feel it is missing a "jump to page" feature or "share direct link to specific page" feature. This way, when our publications go live, we can share direct links to specific articles on social media or with clients without forcing people toggle through each page to get there. pretty please? It would help us out immensely.

Comments in Logical Order Please
The comments in Share for Review currently start on the right hand page of a spread work down and then skip to the top of the left-hand spread. This is confusing.

Disable features to speed up performance and remove bloat.
I wish there was a feature where we could disable all the bloat that we don't need - I am not interested in CC Libraries, Share for Review and god knows what else. The performance of this bloated app is sub standard and something like this would help.

InDesign Review saving all the versions
I really have to prove that I made (25) revisions but I don't want to make PDFs. Is there a way for InDesign Review app able to save all the versions without 'Saving As' and creating another and sometimes huge memory file?

native comments
Give us us native comments within inDesign, or at least allow the person who shared a document for review to add comments in/from the file itself. I currently have to share for review just to add comments to my own file, which adds another stage to our process.

Review link will be deleted after saving Copy
Bug: If you generate a review link and save after this a copy of the .indd. Then the review link is deleted and you have to generate it again. This new link is different from the first one.
I think The review link for the original file should stay the same after saving a copy.

Impossible to copy comments from InDesign Reviews — very inconvenient for workflow
It is extremely frustrating that comments left in InDesign Reviews (Share for Review) cannot be copied. Often, I need to paste a comment into a search bar, a style name, or simply save it for documentation. Having to manually retype every single comment is a waste of time and increases the risk of errors. Please add the ability to select and copy comment text directly from the Review panel. This is a basic feature that should not be missing.

Ability to print and/or download proofs
I have some clients that like to print hard copies of their proofs. Before the 'Share for Review" feature, it was a lot of pdf's making made and uploaded, which tended to crash my InDesign, so I do enjoy not having to create so many, and having one link throughout the process.
However, there is no option for the client to download a pdf or to print the pages directly from the proof... so then I'm back to making pdf's again. That is the only thing so far my clients seem unhappy about with the new proofing system,…25 votes -
Review pins hard to spot
I struggle finding the pins associated to the comments in my designs.
When working with huge very colorfull and image rich brochures the marked pin is very difficult to see a lot of times. Its really frutrating.
I have two suggestions that would fix this problem.
Don't zoom out the view by default when you click on a comment. This would solve my problem, as I would zoom in close on my page and then click the comment. But now it zooms out the view when I click on a comment.
A quick animated arrow that points to the relevant…

InDesign review feature request - accept edits
As I am playing with the new review feature within InDesign, I noticed that it is not a robust as the PDF comments feature. There is the "resolve" button, but no "accept" button. I would like to request that there is an "accept" button so I don't have to make any type edits and adding in the risk of error.

Allow people Tagged in comments to filter by comments they are tagged in.
We have multiple reviewers in a share for review document. When we tag them in a comment they get an email that they have been tagged. However, there is no means for them to filter comments by items they are tagged in. Sure, they can filter by reviewer, but we should also have 'filter by user tagged' OR a button that says 'show me items I am tagged in' or simply a section 'Person tagged' with a button 'Me' etc. This is valuable as it saves clients time having to scroll through comments not relevant to them and…

Please give us option to ADJUST SPACE BETWEEN PAGES.
I've always used PDFs when sending clients proofs but thought I'd give the Share for Review a try. I was surprised by the small amount of space between pages, with no way to increase it. I regularly send multiple design options to clients and that small space/gap between pages makes it difficult since they all seem to blend together (the eyes don't get much of a break between options). Unfortunately, this will keep me from using the Share for Review feature so I hope you decide to add an option to adjust spacing. Thank you.

Access setting defaults
Share for review is a game changer! Thank you! But every time the compiling and uploading is done I need to change the access type from access setting it has to re-compile and upload. This is such a shame.

Allow Adjacent Bordered Paragraphs to Share Their Border
It's great that Paragraph Borders are now included but it really needs an option to "Connect Border to Adjacent Paragraphs Sharing the Same Style" so that the border runs around multiple paragraphs if needed. I know you can work around this with forced line breaks and empty lines but that jars with me and doesn't give me proper style sheet control.

Copy text from the Indesign Review panel, into my text in my Indesign file.
I work a lot with the review links, and I can copy text from the webbrowser review panel; but not from the review panel in Indesign itself. Which makes that If I need to copy a piece of text; written by my reviewers, to adjust in the copy of my file, I have to go to the web version of the link, copy there, go back to ID, find the piece of copy I want to adjust and paste it in there. Very time consuming work around.
Can this be fixed?

Copy and Paste from Review Comments Panel in Id
As a designer, being able to copy and paste new texts from clients directly from the comments panel is crucial.
Right now, in order to copy and paste, I have to open up the review link on another screen in order to copy the new text that needs to be replaced.

Switch between multiple links created for one project
If you need to create multiple links for one layout, for example one for internal review and one for the client - how can you switch back and forth between them directly from the Share for Review panel in InDesign? Can it really be that if you create a new link (for whatever reason) you can never go back and update a link that has already been created?

Being able to compare two proofs alongside one another in Adobe InDesign Review
This would make client work with multiple proofs a lot easier! Many review systems I've used previously do this, and I'm aware acrobat does also - but my client finds Adobe InDesign Review to be easier to use.
