Bug in Merge paragraph borders
There is a bug in merge paragraph borders of CC 13.1. In thread text frames, the border is displayed immediately after end of paragraph.
Hi,
Am moving this issue as a feature request. The idea here is to achieve an effect like: https://app.box.com/s/2eflfbxwychhln9f34tpf0yyw898w5dh
Currently this can be done by turning off the bottom border of the last frame and top border of the first frame.

This is just one of "workaround", not resolution of this bug. Texts are always moving when a designers or operator work for creating a layout. I don't want to do On/Off everytime the text is moving to next page or frame. It's pain in my neck issue. That's why many users vote here. Please fix this.

No, you can’t actually always achieve this by turning off the bottom border of the last frame. If you have a 15% grey shaded text box with a black border, then simply “turning off the bottom border of the last frame” will mean that the paragraph settings are not the same as the previous paragraph so you will end up with an extra border on top and a complete mess. I haven’t yet figured out how I’m going to solve this one!

Hi together,
the same problem applies to merged paragraph shading. That's visible if you are using rounded corners with paragraph shading.Regards,

Hi Aman
The purpose of merging the borders is to visually represent that it is A UNIT.
This representation must be maintained even when split in thread text frames.
When divided, the meaning will change.
Please do not divide as document structure.
