Properties Panel More Options
I quite like the idea of the new Properties Panel, but it would be great to have the options to have the "More Options" items to be expanded permanently. Right now the auto collapse once you change from item to item. I understand if you are working on a laptop, the fact that they auto collapse is helpful but when you are working on a large screen I don't want to keep looking for my options. Please add a preference that makes the expanded options sticky.
A definite must!
YES 100%! Add Properties panel to be more fixed/permanent on screen as you start any document, on ALL ADOBE CC software please. Why need to hide such simple stuff that is so often time used? Thanks!
YESSSSS!!!! pLease do. I really hate extra clicking all the time to open panels on my huge screen that could easily accommodate them. Unnecessary extra clicking is terrible for tendonitis.

The ability to customized the Properties panel.
Different types of publishing workflows need a different set of tools. Examples: accessibility, XML/automated, digital only, print only.
Just as I can set up my own workspace of panels and their locations, I'd also like to remove some of the items in the current Properties panel because I can't use them in my workflow. And there are others buried under an expansion arrow that I need to access all the time.
Different strokes for different folks!
Yes, please do this to all the Adobe CC programs!

Totally agree – I'll use the Control Panel until the sticky option is a possibility.
As the 'properties panel' is a good idea, it would be great if one could make more and better use of it. Even on a laptop (or small display) the 'show more' option should be sticky (or at least a user decision in the preferences whether you want them sticky or not).
Also, wouldn't it be a good idea to allow a reordering of the sections within each 'properties panel'? Because which of those sections are more or less important for your workflow depends on the user and will certainly differ from user to user.
And a minor improvement also could be to find a less space-wasting integration of the 'show more'-button, specially when the section is not collapsed.
The 'show-more' option should be sticky!
(I sware, the programmers never use the software they program or else they would see this is a major annoyance!)
Same issue as Rich Mooney. Good point by Luke. I think I'll get used to the Properties panel, but the sub-panels MUST stay expanded. Glad to hear you've started implementing it. Will it be part of the next update? (I'm on CC 2019 14.0.1) Thanks!
Thank you all for the feedback. We have added this ask for our next release. Will share more details soon.
Add my voice to the "switched-to-classic" solely because More Options isn't sticky. What a freaking nightmare. The constant clicking is going to give me carpal tunnel any day now...
Would enjoy this new InDesign layout if panels were able to remain open -- does slow down the design process having to constantly click three tiny dots.

Yes please. We definitely need to be able to choose the 'More Options' to be sticky.

Totally agree - i have switched back to the old layout until this gets chnged - it totally slows down production in InDesign.
I really need this! I like the new Panel and it is so nice to work with (mostly) one Panel on a laptop screen. But it is so annoying to click everytime to show all the options.
I'm placing customer provided art into a layout for the printer and have to constantly check that it is at the size % I am expecting so having to click to expand every time is getting very annoying!

Need preference to keep all categories of the new Properties Panel always expanded without having to click. Workflow has slowed considerably due to this. The old Top Control Bar was very good at this.

OMG, YES!!!! New Properties Panel is awesome, BUT, need to have a way to keep More Options expanded without clicking the three dots. Please, please, please!
You don't need to go back to 2018. There's still the option to turn back on the Control strip in 2019. Window>Control.
I completely agree please remove the auto collapse and add increment arrows to transform section
