SVG import has been implemented in InDesign 2020. Please upgrade to this version of InDesign to use this feature.

Adobe InDesign teamAn error occurred while saving the comment Rainer Klute commentedI think here's a litte bit confusion about the word "import" in the headline. What most/all of us would like to have is that it should be possible to place a SVG. Nothing more. No export from InDesign, no editing in Indesign.
An error occurred while saving the comment Rainer Klute commentedSVG-files should be able to be placed in InDesign. No editing is necessary.

An error occurred while saving the comment Rainer Klute commentedPlus: It should be possible to archive older, seldom used libraries. They should be re-activated if needed, of course.

Thanks for this suggestion. I need a little more information in trying to understand this request a bit more:
1. Is the situation that you have created a design already or have an existing design and now need to change the page size. Any description on why you need to change the page would be helpful.
2. How drastic is the page size change. Is it just a minor change or is it something like changing from portrait mode to landscape.
3. Please share links to any screenshot of the document where you recently needed this feature. This would help us better understand this request.Rainer Klute supported this idea · -

We have recently started development work on Convert PDF to INDD. Going forward, we will keep adding more functionality and refining it.
The feature is available as a Beta feature in InDesign 19.5 Beta version, available via the CCD app.
Note: For now, it is available only when InDesign's install language is English (North America or International).
Please provide us feedback on this Beta feature. Looking forward to hearing your feedback.

Hello All,
Kindly provide more information about this ask. How do you plan to use the Action Panel in InDesign? Do you want it to work exactly like that in Photoshop? What are the most important actions/operations that you want to record?
Thanks

This feature already exists in InDesign, or are there some enhancements over and above what already exists that you are requesting here.
Thanks,

1. & 3. I don't want it in the whole paragraph, but for more than one word.
2. No "normal" user will think of "no language" as a solution if he/she wants to avoid hyphenation.
Therefore I'd like to have this as a character style.
