I am having the same problem! It really is an issue! You pay a fortune every month for stupid bugs that take forever to get fixed!!!!!

Having the same problem as others below major issue just spent forever troubleshooting why the new files I reported looked all wrong. Changed back to the correct color setting. Exported again and it was fixed an hour later the settings had reverted again! What do I need to rollback to to fix this?

This is STILL a problem — I started having this in March 2021 suddenly in Indesign. All my colors are wonky now. I have tried going to Bridge, etc, and every day it reverts back. It never sticks. Seriously -- they NEED to fix this -- it is super frustrating and slowing me down!

This issue isn't fixed. I'm running 16.1, latest version. It changes all the time, I have to keep going to Bridge to reset. Annoying, irritating, this never needed to happy. Why does Adobe build as many new bugs as they do new features?

Color Settings Not Sticking

Upon updating to InDesign 2021 (16.1) my color settings are no longer retained.

As soon as I quit the app and restart the color settings go back to "Emulate Adobe InDesign 2.0 CMS Off"

i got the same problem with indesing and illustrator, latest versions march 2021. also indesign resets to emulate when i import an image.

Help me, Rhonda!!!

This is happening for me too. Document colour settings are vital for the print industry to maintain colour consistency, how a bug like this can get through to general release is appalling.

Yup, this bug is back in InDesign 16.1 (CC 2021). Really, really annoying.

I’m experiencing this same issue in InDesign 16.1 (haven't checked Illustrator yet) after the recent update. Please fix this, as it is quite annoying.

This is horrible. It keeps happening over and over.

I am having the same issue. This is messing my entire workflow up.

Are the people building these apps working with designers? Color Management issues could destroy an entire project, and I am currently working on several at once. I need this program to work with me on it's base level of functioning.

Wow, it even drops the settings as Indesign is open and while working on a document(!). Please fix this at once Adobe.

Why are these same issues reoccurring after they have been fixed in earlier versions?
