1. AIGPU sniffer

   Hi I keep having two problems with CC. It seems that Every adobe product that I use opens AIGPU sniffer in ICONS of "last used". Kind of annoying to see that on my OS toolbar all the time.

   Second problem is a spacebar hand problem - even I have seen some solutions it seems it is always something different that interrupts this feature - this is crucial tool to use.

   Both of those bugs I noticed right after I downloaded another update for CC that I always do and I expect to have some bugs on the start - got used to it. But most of the time they are gone after few weeks after upgrade - this time it is months. Please get a new update.

2. bad export of styles' tags

   I have a problem with bag export of the styles' tags to ePUB with the latest InD. It's shortens the filled names of the HTML classes in the CSS file and makes some own different names in the .html files itself. It's quite messy then :(

3. HSB Swatch Displays incorrectly with Color Settings OFF

   On Mac, when using the setting "Emulate Adobe InDesign 2.0 CMS OFF" in Color Settings, HSB color swatches display incorrectly on the page. For example, a light pastel would display as royal blue. When using "North American Prepress 2" or "North American General Purpose 2" settings, the color is displayed correctly.

   Also, the automatic names InDesign provides when using "Add Unnamed Colors" in the Swatches panel show incorrect values. See attached.

4. InDesign hyperlink testing swamps my website and triggers my site's denial-of-service-attack banning on my IP

   InDesign does checking of hyperlinks to see if they are valid and indicates the result in the hyperlinks list with a green dot (good) or a red dot (bad).

   The problem is my document has 500+ hyperlinks to my website and when Adobe tests these hyperlinks (when I open up the hyperlinks list dialog), it swamps my website with hundreds of hyperlink hits all at once and triggers the denial-of-service-attack IP banning code on my website.

   The end result is any time I'm editing hyperlinks in my Adobe InDesign document, I get banned from my website! When I check the server logs, it shows the source being an Adobe app at my IP -- which is InDesign of course.

   You need to add an option in the InDesign settings to throttle hyperlink testing by adding a delay between each link test ping. Default it to zero but let the user set a value in milliseconds to delay each test ping. Adding 1000 milliseconds would make each test ping get fired at one second intervals, for instance. Allow a max of 360,000 milliseconds, which is 6 minutes delay between pings.

   Your programmers need to keep in mind not everyone has a half-dozen hyperlinks in their documents. Get them to think through what happens in hyperlink testing if the document has 1000 hyperlinks in it, all deep links to pages on a single website -- and they will realize what a monster they've created by not allowing a user-specified per link test delay value.

5. Extra, unwanted details appearing in paragraph styles (borders and shading)

   When I copy a paragraph style from another document, OR copy styled text, and then attempt to edit the paragraph style, elements related to paragraph borders and paragraph shading suddenly appear in the paragraph style. This happens even though paragraph borders and shading are turned OFF. I suppose it's not affecting the style, because it's not turning them on, but they style is overly cluttered and messy and is mucking up our shared group template.

   I'm working primarily in CC2018, but also replicated the problem in CC2020.

6. not opening files

   Version of Adobe InDesign, InCopy or InDesign Server - Version 20 (beta), running on Windows 11

   Steps to reproduce the issues - In Windows file explorer, I double click on an .indd file

   Expected result - InDesign would then open the file

   Actual result - InDesign opens, but will not open the file. The only ways I can open an .indd file in InDesign is by using the Open command or by dragging and dropping an .indd file into it.

7. Size and Position Missing from Object Styles

   "Size and Position Options" are missing from Object Styles. The option is simply not listed in the Object Styles options and I cannot find a reason for it anywhere. Everywhere I've searched says it should be there so that I can set a specific placement for an object with that style applied, but it's missing.

   I'm using the software at work. It's Adobe InDesign CC - 2017.1 release. 12.1.0.56 x64 build.

8. UI Interface Overlapping

9. CC library issues - errors importing and no browser sync

   I am using Adobe Cloud v17.3 and have 2 related issues:

   1. When I try to import a CC library, it doesn't fully import. Only a few items appear.
      This library has been successfully imported on other occasions, so I am confused.

   2. I have built another CC library within my InDesign environment. When I try to view it online, it says that I don't have any libraries?!

10. different color appearance of different files of same settings and colors when both windows are open and change by mouse over

    Two documents with the same settings. The same graphic in these documents appear differently in each document. But the appearance of the colors change by mouse over to look alike the colors in the other document. Both windows of the documents are opened at the same time. It must be a bug in the software.

    I'm using Indesign 18.0 of the Adobe creative cloud

    Title: Splash screen/Startup Screen won't go away.

    Description: Whenever InDesign is launched by a script the splash screen stays open indefinitely.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1) Quit InDesign
    2) Make a new AppleScript, with the content:

    "tell application "Adobe InDesign CC 2017"
    launch
    end tell"

    3) Run the script

    Result: InDesign launches, but the splash screen never close

    Expected result: InDesign should launch, but the splash screen should hide, once the launch is completed.

    Summary of the Issue
    The CC Libraries panel flickers continuously when InDesign 2026 (26.3.1) is used on a MacBook Pro M4 connected to an external display. The flicker is limited to the panel UI itself and does not affect other panels or the document area.
    The flickering completely stops under two conditions:

    When the CC Libraries panel is moved to the MacBook’s built‑in display.

    This mirrors known InDesign UI bugs where panel or submenu rendering breaks only on external monitors. [community.adobe.com]

    When the user backs out of or exits the specific Library being viewed inside the CC Libraries panel.

    External monitors have been associated with flicker and UI redraw failures in InDesign, often independent of document content. [community.adobe.com]

    The issue persists across multiple documents, including brand-new ones, indicating this is panel-level behavior, not file corruption.

    Steps to Reproduce

    Open Adobe InDesign 2026 (26.3.1) on macOS Tahoe 26.3.1.
    Connect an external display to the MacBook Pro M4.
    Open the CC Libraries panel.
    Navigate into an existing Library containing assets.
    View the panel on the external monitor.

    Observed Behavior

    The bottom portion (or the entire contents) of the CC Libraries panel flickers repeatedly.
    The flicker occurs even when InDesign is idle (not interacting with the panel).
    The flicker continues across all open documents and persists after restarts.

    Expected Behavior

    The CC Libraries panel should render normally on all attached displays without flickering or redraw failures.

    Workarounds Found

    Collapsing the CC Libraries panel stops the flickering immediately.

    Dragging the panel onto the MacBook’s built-in display stops the flicker completely.

    This behavior is similar to past InDesign external‑monitor flicker issues documented by Adobe. [community.adobe.com]

    Backing out of the active Library being viewed also stops the flicker.

    These workarounds confirm the issue is tied to panel content rendering + external monitor GPU/UI pipeline, consistent with known external‑monitor flickering behaviors previously reported in InDesign. [community.adobe.com]

    Additional Notes

    GPU Performance toggling (on/off) does not resolve the issue, though enabling GPU was suggested as a workaround for similar InDesign flicker behaviors in older versions. [indesign.u...rvoice.com]

14. Link Name as Page Title in Share for Review

    I have no idea why it isn’t set up this way, as the title of "Link Name" certainly makes it sound like that would be the page title, but instead I find that every single document I share for review has the page title of "Files | Adobe Creative Cloud" which is supper annoying when I have to share a few different proofs in a messaging app. Messaging apps (like Skype) convert the link to a card that features the page title in bold, so I end up with a series of links that all look the exact same, with no way for the recipient to know what they are until they click on them. Can the page titles of Share For Review pages please be changed to what we set as the Link Name?

15. Links panel

    Hi Support Team,
    I’ve been using Adobe InDesign for the last few years, and after the latest update it looks like the option to copy the missing file name from the Links panel has been removed.
    This feature was extremely useful, because you could quickly copy the file name and search for it across available storage locations (local drive / external drives / server).
    Now, instead, there are only two options to copy the full file path to the missing file. I don’t really understand why there are two versions of essentially the same action, and more importantly — the full path is not very helpful when the file is missing in the first place.
    At the moment, to extract the missing file name I have to do extra steps (such as modifying/removing the original path and letting the system prompt a relink search), which is time-consuming and unnecessary.
    Could you please restore the “Copy File Name” option in this menu?

16. Cannot open file while InDesign is opened

    399/5000
    I can't open the file while InDesign is open, returning the following message: "Unable to open document
    "3849 ..." You may not have privileges or the document may be open. To allow multiuser access close the file and lock it ... Finder. File> Get Info. But if I quit InDesign and try to open the file, it opens normally ... Does anyone have any ideas?

17. line thickness

    1. Adobe Indesign 19.1 Dutch version but problem occurs also in previous versions. OS Sonoma 14.1
    2. Double click on 'line' then I try to fill in 0,5 pt for the thickness.
    3. I would expect 0,5 pt for the thickness.
    4. but I get ',t' instead. After trying '5' and press 'enter' I get '5 pt' and after that I can choose anything I want.

18. image box not working

    When drawing image frame, the option to link an image no longer appears. Can only insert images in the document by using Place option from menu drop down. There should be a button that shows when I draw an image box that gives me option to link in a image from files- a new image or relink an image. Neither of these is available.

19. Files Open with Guides Hidden

    Version of Adobe InDesign, InCopy or InDesign Server: InDesign 2025 (20.0.1)
    Steps to reproduce the issues: Create new INDD file or open existing INDD or INDT file
    Expected result: Opened file shows guides
    Actual result: Opened file does not show guides

    Opening any new or existing file in InDesign 2025 opens the file with guides turned off. Opening the same existing files in InDesign 2024 opens the file with guides turned on.

20. Screen Draws Bizarre Patterns

    This has been happening for the past several versions. Im using ID 2023 on a 27" 2019 31. Mhz iMac with 64GB. It runs a Raedon Pro 575X 4GB.

    While I am moving the document, sometimes these bizarre dark patterns form. Sometimes it happens when just an item is moved on the document. But it appears to be random. Scrolling off the page and back onto it seems to solve it.

    This only happens in InDesign. None of the other Adobe apps or other graphic apps have this issue. So it leads me to believe it is not the video card, but one specific program.

    I also own an M1 Mac Mini which runs the exact same software...but has no such issues. I keep hoping an update will fix this but it remains for the past two years...
