1. Missing item in startup screen should be removed

   If I move a document on my hard drive, of course it’s gonna be missing in the recent items of inDesign. (normal)
   At that moment, instead of « missing doc -> OK » i should have :
   « missing doc -> remove from recent docs / Ok »
   * OK would do the exact same thing, closing the message window and leaving the icon/item there.
   * remove would remove it from the list so that I don’t see it again and mistakenly click it again.
   Why keeping the « OK » item at all ? So that I can keep track of a moved file if i didn’t want, or was on an external removed drive, and will find it again next time it is plugged/mounted.

2. Windows #@$!*&%^((@@)):[[

   Hello to the Adobe InDesign Geniuses! I write this with a heavy heart, I have been a mac holdout/Windows Defender when it comes to Adobe products (Photoshop) since the Mid 1990's If I had to guess, 1995 or 1996. I LOVE Adobe Products and have a huge distaste for Mac. I am reaching a breaking point with Windows, they are trying to make an OS SOOO much more and constantly causing problems, I just had to re install windows on 5 computers due to the latest update that I have yet to have one Windows tech support expert agree as to what the actual problem was, if there really was a problem with any windows patch..... I am seriously considering looking into a Chromebook. The only reason I have not jumped is.... No Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro etc... I know Adobe has started to make some apps available on Android/Chrome OS, is there any hope of a full Suite? If so, any clues as to when? Thank you!

4. Self-closes or crashes when computer sleeps

   InDesign 15.1.1
   Windows 10
   After putting computer to "Sleep", InDesign is closed upon wakening the computer. Sometimes says "crashed" (10% of the time). Other Adobe applications are still open where left off.

5. When duplicating page(s) the layout breaks

   I'm on windows 11.
   Since updating to 19.4 i noticed that everytime i duplicate a page it moves my whole layout around. It happens not only if i alt drag the page, also if i right click duplicate and when i made an alternate layout in the page panel. It also doesn't matter if i lock a layer. Everything gets moved a little bit to the right or the left, to the top or bottom. Sometimes it also slightly scales an image i believe. The only thing i can do against it, is copy the whole spread and paste it on a new blank page, but that's really annoying, especially since it doesn't copy it to the different layers it was on.

   The first screenshot is an example of how it's supposed to look and the second how it ends up looking if i duplicate it.

6. Keyboard shortcuts to change case not working on Windows

   Keyboard shortcuts to change case of lines of text is no longer working. Apart from Alt-T to get up the text menu, I'm now having to use the mouse to select the further options to change to Title case. The sequence Alt-T-E-T, no longer works. As I frequently have many entries which need unifying each time I use it, this once useful feature is sorely missing. Please can you fix it Adobe?

7. workspace's features (such as scroll down button and scroll sides, as well as page jump using pages tab) now showing

   I'm using InCopy on Mac, and the bottom features are hidden.
   I'm also using InCopy on my PC and it works fine. All the bottom are shown correctly.
   Before 2019, it only happened when I opened Assignments panel, which hid last couple assignments from the pane and I couldn't scroll down any further to reveal it.
   But now, it's happening on the bottom pane universally(?).
   Does anyone else having similar issues?

8. hyphenation not working properly in English

   first, why can't I use a snipping file here? Neither .jpg or .png will work - your site denies these file types.

   My hyphenation is really out of whack. If you look at the first line of text, it's crazy that it's wrapping the 1, for WW1 to the next line. If I add the No Break from the Character panel, it moves "World War" down to the second line.

9. Adobe PDR printer settings option missing

   Hello dear Adobe team,
   my problem is as following: When printing Booklet in my custom settings I am missing Adobe PDF printer option. I cant even install Adobe printer from control panel as suggested here: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/add-pdf-printer-manually.html because there is no Adobe PDF option in "Use existing port" option. Could you please help me with this? I am also adding a few screenshots of the problem.

10. Bug: Table/cell styles don't define cell height and character format

    Indesign CC 2020, v17.1

    The dialog to create a new cell style doesn't have a definition for the cell height (value "At least" / "Exactly") like we find it in the table properties panel. Table styles also don't define cell height and that is all we can use. If you adjust the cell height manually and redefine the cell style, it's also not submitted. So there is no chance to format an entire table just by selecting a table style.

    Next is characters. If there is supposed to be text in a table, that text gotta have a style. Since we want to be able to define different styles for the header row(s) and body, the styles would be nested. Means, a cell style defines the style of the cell, but also of the text by using a character style.

    So, while a table style can define how the different cells shall be filled/stroked it can only format half of the table. Why? Why not make it complete?

11. Option-Click/Drag to duplicate spread does not work anymore with MacOS 11.0.1 update

    1. InDesign 15.1.3
    2. To Duplicate Spreads in Pages Panel — Option-Click/Drag to duplicate spread does not work anymore with MacOS 11.0.1 update. It used to with previous MacOS.
    3. Expected Result: the grab hand would have a plus sign, then duplicate spread.
    4. Actual Result: The grab hand operates as "Move" not "Duplicate".

    Right/Click Duplicate does, however (but who has that much time? : )

13. WordsFlow

    When deciding against using WordsFlow plugin by EmSoftware, not renewing from trial license, it continued not only to be on the main FILE menu but it also is preventing normal (InDesign) placing of graphic files into InDesign files by a popup window asking for license renewal information. If I cancel that window, it cancels the PLACE... operation. In other words, WordsFlow does not extricate itself from the program even if no longer using and registered AND after uninstalling from the Windows APP utility, BUT it continues to interfere with normal InDesign operation.
    How do I get rid of this?

14. Document title field doesn't handle pasted content that includes paragraph characters.

    In the File Information window: If you paste a document title into the Document title field (that includes a return character) it messes with the title field. Maybe you could add scroll bars to solve this…

15. InCopy assignment names don't change with file name

    Backstory:
    We have particularly formatted files that we use to create new versions for new products. The copy isn't created new, but modified from the old version that was already used in InCopy.

    The Issue:
    My InCopy guy FREAKS OUT when he sees the name of the assignment assets (attached screenshot) are that of a previous project not at all related to the file he's currently working on.

    The Long and Complicated Solutions:
    I know there's a way in InCopy to rename these, but it's long, complicated and outside of a standard workflow. A shorter and easier method would be to create a new text object and copy/paste the text there. But that's still not ideal.

    An Ideal Solutions? (if ever at all possible):
    The actual Assignment name (that starts as "Assignment 1") can be changed by simply double clicking it form the assignments panel if you neglected to change it when the assignment was created. Could assets also get that treatment maybe?

    Any simple fixes would be helpful.

16. Text options greyed out when I select more than one box that are linked.

    Text options greyed out when I select more than one box that are linked using selection tool. For example I want to select 3 linked text boxes and change the text colour. The [T] button in the colours panel is greyed out. So is font, etc. Means that I have go into each box and select the text requires extra click. Did not use to be this way in CC2019. Please fix.

17. First baseline offset not being applied

    More than half the time that I try to change the First Baseline Offset in the Text Frame Options panel, the default setting (Ascent) will not change. When I select a different option from the drop-down menu, such as Leading, Ascent stays selected (before I'm even given the chance to click "OK" or "Cancel"). The only solution I've found to this problem is quitting InDesign and reopening it again and again.

18. "Go to endnote reference" (or "text") feature not found in 2018

    "Go to endnote reference," or "text," not present in right click popup window on my version of InDesign 2018, nor is it present under Type Menu. But then this could only be in my application.

19. Place/import file grey save delay

    When placing an image file into InDesign, if recently saved, the file is greyed out and can't be imported (even if I wait). Have to exit import window and go back in. Super annoying.

20. ACTIVETED FONTS I work in file with the text on Gotham HTF

    ACTIVETED FONTS I work in file with the text on Gotham HTF. Book Font (original Apple) is my program for active/disactive fonts. On window (InDesign) Find Font I see that the Gotham HTF Bold is present 2 time, also Gotham HTF Book and Gotham HTF Blasck. But this problem is present only for Gotham, NO for Helvetica Neue Ltd std or ;inion or other fonts.

    Can someone tell me WHY? ... and escuse my badbad english I'm Italian ;)
