AI content labelling
Hi, I just opened indesign to see my own work labelled as AI generated. I haven't used any AI tools to produce any of my data, yet it appears as such in many instances. Are these metadata stores upon export too? How is Adobe going to address this? This basically robs me of my copyrights. Would appreciate if this was only toggle on/off feature, and not the default.
Cheers,
Tomas

Hi Naina,
Thanks for the feedback.
I'm using InDesign (21.2) version.
Tbh I don't know how I arrived to this outcome. I just opened my older .indd file, and was surprised to see this "T" AI generated label by most of my images (some of them photos, some of them vector graphics -.pdf of .ai format, and some render images), they are placed as external links.
I did find the Generative AI tab and disabled it (see attached), yet the labelling persist.
What am I doing wrong?
Cheers,

Hi Tomas,
Thank you for reaching out. To help us investigate this further, could you please confirm which version of Adobe InDesign you are currently using?
Additionally, it would be helpful if you could share the steps you follow that lead to the file being labeled as AI-generated so we can try to reproduce the behavior on our side.
Also, are you placing any images or external assets in your InDesign document? If the label is coming from images, there is an option to disable this in the Preferences menu under Generative AI tab.. Please let us know so we can guide you with the exact steps.
Thanks,
Adobe Team
