text wrap controls behave different with transformed objects
>>InDesign 16.1v64
…
> Text Wrap controls behave different with transformed objects.
> At first I was going to report this as a bug and saw one other post where they were having the same issue but then I realized what is really going on so I'm making a suggestion.
> Look at the Text Wrap for an Image object with the controls unlinked.
> I was seeing the bottom control affecting the right side. And the Right side control affecting another side.
> After some research I realized this was only happening on the images I'd imported and rotated1 vote -
AdobeFnt.lst automatically reappears after deleting
>>>InDesign version: 15.0.2
>>Suddenly (after the latest March 2020 InDesign update?) the AdobeFont.lst file created with InDesign packages automatically shows up with folder structure after deleting a package. This is really aggravating for file management. It's as if my team can't fully delete InDesign packages. This is happening with multiple InDesign files on multiple machines.

object style override plus-sign when multiple elements selected
>>>Object style made. Works fine.
>
> Multiple items on page need same style. When applied to ONE item, styles menu looks "normal." When applied to multiple items, with items selected, the styles menu shows plus-sign after style name.
> All of "clear overrides" options tried. Does not fix. Cannot verify that use of style is correct if styles panel gives false feedback.
> In the past, earlier versions, I don't remember ever seeing this apparent conflict.

Accessible PDF Alternative Text Fail When Object Set to Multiply
>>>InDesign 14.0.2
>>When an object is set to "multiply" in Effects and exported to Interactive PDF, there is a Alternative Text fail reported when running Accessibility Full Check. When the "multiply" effect is removed, there is a clean report. Please fix.
>>Attached are both the original file (with multiply on) and the PDF generated. If you remove multiply, it works.

appliedLanguage property of text-related objects returns language from application, not document
>>When I do configuration for a language in a document, such as setting doubleQuotes, this language can be found in the document object's list of languages and has a different id than the language with the same name in the application object's list.
>>But when I access text inside the document – regardless what I inspect, paragraph, words, character, textStyleRange – I expect to get the language properties as set in the document, but instead I get those as set in the app.

Border style bottom is being applied twice to the same text.
>>This is a message for all the adobe indesign programmers, before adding new features can you at least fix all the bugs in this program!
>>I use the border feature a lot but lately it's been bugger than usual. I have a piece of text that has a border right and bottom. Under it I have another piece of text with the same settings and both have merge borders turned on. Please look at screenshot and tell him what the **** is going on! There is only 2 blocks of text but it's giving me 4 borders!

Swatches should show text colour when character style is applied
>>>When a GREP Style applies a character style that includes a colour change the Swatches panel and the Fill in the Control Panel do not show the applied swatch. The swatch shown is for the base style without the GREP Style applied.
>>In the attaches screen shot the green text is affected by a GREP Style. As you can see the Swatches panel shows the text is black, not the applies swatch.

Request: import of conditions of conditional text when placing an INDD
>>>When placing an INDD in another document, layers of the placed INDD are imported, so content in the placed INDD can be hidden or unhidden. The same doesn't work with conditional text, but the principle is the same. Hide/unhide text, for instance in a table, by switching conditions. Handling this by using layers is possible, but way more effortive.

search text
>>>BUG/FEATURE: No SEARCH feature for indd.adobe.com documents!
>
> Details: I'm viewing a wine list for the restaurant Cafe Juanita in Kirkland, WA (URL below). Your indd.adobe.com viewer does NOT have a >search> feature. Which would be super useful on this 28 page wine list! In addition, there is no >download> button, so I cannot download the PDF and search it locally.>>https://indd.adobe.com/view/cc7d0fe7-32b2-427b-b6a8-7820ff9bf01f>

Character style based running header text variable does not pick up character styles applied by nested line styles
>>>As with Grep styles the text variable character style is not found when it is created using Nested Line Styles. This means I have to use normal nested styles and add end nested style markers into the text. Not ideal or as fully automatic as I would like.

Extra, unwanted details appearing in paragraph styles (borders and shading)
>>Full details posted here: >https://community.adobe.com/t5/InDesign/Paragraph-Styles-including-paragraph-border-and-paragraph/m-p/10741537#M162568>
>>When I copy a paragraph style from another document, OR copy styled text, and then attempt to edit the paragraph style, elements related to paragraph borders and paragraph shading suddenly appear in the paragraph style. This happens even though paragraph borders and shading are turned OFF. I suppose it's not affecting the style, because it's not turning them on, but they style is overly cluttered and messy and is mucking up our shared group template.

search all documents
>>>Search / Find "All Documents" opens unrelated docs, causes error crash.
>>Sometimes, when doing a "find" on "All Documents," InDesign will suddenly open a document (a document that is linked in my current document, but that wasn't open before) that has the looked-for text in it. Attempting to close this unwanted document causes a crash error.
>>This has been a problem since at least CS6 if not earlier. Shocked to find it in CC.

Some text in tables is shifted to the right after the PDF export
>>After the PDF export, some texts in the table cells were shifted to the right in the PDF file. The texts are not correctly positioned one below the other. The values of the deviations from the correct position are up to 0.5 point, but different.

Arabic exported to EPUB (Fixed Layout) doesn't show properly
>>• InDesign 15.1.2 / Mac OS 10.15.6
>>• Create an InDesign document with Arabic content. Apply any Arabic font.
>>• When exporting to EPUB (Fixed Layout) we should see the Arabic text appear in the epub viewer in similar manner as it shows in InDesign document.
>>• The exported epub document is viewed in Apple's Books application, and Adobes Digital Editions 4.5 with similar problems in both epub viewers, where all Arabic text is either invisible or messed up and shifted from its location.
>>• Attached images from InDesign document, and epub file which was exported

Adobe Review: automatic adoption of text suggestions and incorrect filter behavior
>>When I receive comments on replacing text or deleting text sections via Adobe Review and these are displayed in Adobe InDesign 20.0, the display switches to comments with the status clarified. After each correction, which cannot be accepted with approval but must be made manually, I have to set the filter in the control panel back to unresolved comments to work on.

Text selection selects whole document AND cursor jumps to top of document after saving
>>InCopy 14.0. MacOs Mojave 10.14.4

> I work in a icml-document which was assigned to me from InDesign. It contains references to other documents and a lot of comments (for the designer).

Text wrap around anchored objects needs to work according to settings. It is inconsistent and erratic.
>>Text wrap refuses to wrap properly around my anchored objects regardless of anchor placement in the paragraph or text wrap offset settings.
>>This causes the object to overlap the text and/or have inconsistent margin offset around the object. It's erratic and inconsistent among the various objects, even though they all have the exact same object style applied.
>>Some of the objects wrap a little better than others - at least they're not overlapping on top of text - but the wrap margins are still inconsistent. Not a single object wraps how I believe it should based on
