1. Publish online feature not working after deactivating renewal of creative cloud plan

   After I deactivated the renewal of my annual plan (long before the date of renewal), I experienced an issue. When I try to publish from InDesign, it says "error #315: this service is unavailable...". On the My Plans section of the website it says I should still have access to this service until my plan expires. I contacted customer support and they basically told me they can't do anything. I assume this is a bug as the website says I do have access to it, but the app wont let me use it.

2. Image tagged with sRGB, but InDesign assigns AdobeRGB (Workspace) and displays incorrect colors

   I´m using Indesign 13.0.1 x64

   To recreate please use the following steps (I have AdobeRGB as Working-space and preserve profiles):
   1. Create a new document
   2. Place the attached Image "Portrait_Edip-original.jpg"
   3. Look for the Profile in the links-panel

   The image has sRGB but displays as Workspace RGB but my workspace is AdobeRGB and also the colors are incorrect.
   Bridge and Photoshop both show the right profile.
   When i open the image in Photoshop and save it as jpeg it works in InDesign.

   I have this issue from time to time but now i´m sure it´s a bug.

   I work for a publishing company and we make 50 magazines a year with an average of 100 pages and 3 pictures per page. So we cannot check if indesign assigned each icc correctly.

   Although this does not always happen but at least 10 pictures per magazine.

   I have also attached the newly saved image, the indesign document and a screenshot of my color settings.

3. Tables and text randomly disappear in Adobe InDesign document

   While working in Adobe InDesign, tables and text frames intermittently disappear from the document, even though their frames and guides are still visible. As shown in the attached image, content that should be displayed (tables and text) is no longer visible on the page layout.

   This issue occurs during normal editing and navigation of the document and does not appear to be related to hidden layers or visibility settings. The problem affects document review and editing, making it difficult to verify content accuracy.

4. File Info box not displaying CC2020 15.1.1

   File Info box not displaying when trying to add metadata. CC2020 15.1.1, Mac OS Catalina 10.15.5, external Dell monitor. I have tried reopening and overwriting preference files then restart. I have tried deleting library cache for cc15 and then restart. I have disconnected external monitor and restarted. Only solution has been to reopen as cc2019 doc and add there, but some clients make additional changes in 2020 and send back so I still have same issue. I keep having to force quit to get program to restart each time I try and open file info.
   I saw someone had issue in 2019, but no responses had been noted. Mine DOES work in 2019, but bugs in 2020, so I try not to use it.

   Font errors of Southeast Asian languages such as Myanmar (Burmese) Unicode

   1.     Version of Adobe InDesign, InCopy or InDesign Server : InDesign CC 2020 15.0.3 / 15.1.1 (Korean)

   2.     Steps to reproduce the issues : Text deformation, image mislocation, text warp errors occurred when Myanmar (Burmese) Unicode text is used in InDesign CC 2020 version. Some of these errors samely appear in Khmer, Lao and Thai as well. I've tried 'World-Ready Composer' function, 'setting-up the language', changing to language font', but none of them worked.

7. Actual size (with web artboards) does not shows the actual pixels sizes

   Issue to visualise correctly the zoom in indesign

   with 2 identical artboards for web (300x300px) one in indesign and one in photoshop, click on 'view' 'actual size'.. the difference is huge

   Seems photoshop scaling looks ok

   and indesign is way bigger than the real size in Pixels

8. InDesign crashes while accessing printer setup or printing on Windows

   I've had no issues in writing documents, but printing an existing one crashed InDesign2018. A crash report was automatically generated and sent to you &/ or Apple.

9. Separations Preview is not displaying any values

   EDIT:
   I appear to have resolved the issue by uninstalling some Dell software that was pre-installed on my workstation. Why or how that would interfere with InDesign I have no idea but colour this resolved.

   I'm having an issue with the Separations Preview panel not showing any percentage values, it's just blank. I think it started after updating from 20.3 to 20.3.1; but I installed versions back to 19.0 to test and it strangely seems to be effecting those versions too.

   Widows 11, all updates current.

   A web search showed this issue has popped up in that past and I follow the advice given (deleting caches fixed it for one).
   I've deleted caches
   Reset preferences
   Uninstalled/reinstalled
   etc.

   Nothing so far has fixed the issue.

10. Cursor clicking and dragging when only clicking.

    When just clicking somewhere on-screen (e.g. clicking a different swatch colour or clicking on a text box), sometimes the cursor will click and drag the item as well. I have tried multiple mice (3) and still have the same issue with each one, making me assume it may be a software issue.

11. Variable Font: top of "U" wiggles as you change weight (FreeType bug)

    1. Download and unzip https://www.dropbox.com/s/3b6k0izkm5ma3dy/200719-AdobeVFBug.zip?dl=1

    2. Install the font from font/DaikonVF-mini.ttf

    3. Run InDesign 15.1.1

    4. Type "AU" and choose the Daikon VF font

    5. Click the Variable Font button and move the weight slider between the extreme locations. Observe how the top of "U" "wiggles" (jumps up and down). This is shown in videos/DaikonVF-InDesign-15.1.1.mp4

    6. The same problem occurs in Illustrator 24.2.1 and I have logged it at https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447-illustrator-bugs/suggestions/40945024-variable-font-bug-wiggling-top-of-u

    7. The same problem occurs in DTL OTmaster 7.9 and in FontView 2019 (an open source app built from https://github.com/googlefonts/fontview ) — both apps use older versions of the FreeType library.

    8. The problem no longer occurs in FontView 2020 (which I’ve rebuilt with newest FreeType). I’m including both the 2019 and 2020 version of FontView in the ZIP.

    9. The problem also does not occur in Chrome 83 (which I think uses FreeType for VF), nor it occurs in Safari 13.1.2. Videos are included in the "video" folder.

    So it seems that it’s a bug in FreeType which was fixed by the FreeType developers. If Illustrator and InDesign use FreeType for VF, then Adobe should update FreeType to the newest version.

12. Online Publishing not taking all images

    Using both InDesign 19 and 18.5, publishing online no longer functions on a Mac running Sonoma 14.1. This issue started days ago. I’ve Packaged projects, saved them locally, and confirmed all images are linked but when I publish them, some images do not tranfer. And it’s random. If I publish over and over again, an image that didnt appear before may make it through. This is a terrible bug for me personally as I rely on digital publishing and sharing interactive presentations for my business.

13. Type is shifting inside text box upon moving.

    I've been noticing when I use the type tool, I can fill it as normal. Style things with the appropriate fonts/colors but should I move the box it self to a new location the spacing above the font will grow or shrink and shift everything inside that text box. It almost acts like it is adjusting like it has text flow around an image feature selected. Sometimes remove all the styles then re-applying them will fix it but this is issue had been annoying me for maybe the past 2 months.

14. In Arabic OpenType-SVG fonts, glyphs shift seemingly randomly in all directions

    In Arabic fonts with SVG table, glyphs move up, down, left, and right seemingly randomly, and typing more text or adding vowel marks change how the glyphs are shifted.

    If the fonts are processed to remove the SVG table, they work fine (but color glyphs are not colored, obviously).

    Illustrator and Photoshop do not have this issue, and the font with SVG table works normally.

    I tested this with https://github.com/aliftype/raqq/blob/main/fonts/Raqq.ttf as well as https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Reem+Kufi+Ink.

15. Ventura Indesign file not found

    I have a number of files when I double click them to open, I get an error saying "<file name> not found. If I make a copy of the file, I can then open it. I don't know it that's an InDesign issue or a Ventura issue.

16. spelling

    I am using InDesign 15.0.1 with the English (UK) dictionary. The spell check doesn't work at all - the dynamic spelling feature underlines every single word. I finally upgraded to CC from CS6 because InDesign v8.0 had started doing the same thing, but it still has the same issue.

17. stroke window - drop down menu options

    Indesign 20.5
    In the stroke window there is functionality issue in the drop down menus - 'type' and 'start/end' for arrows etc. The drop down menu does not stay open to select an option. Very annoying and can't add arrows to lines. Also noticing the issue is in the toolbar as well for strokes.

19. SmartStream crash

    We are experiencing an issue where InDesign v21 will crash while we are using HP SmartStream Designer. This occurs when we start creating an imposed job, and will fail at different times with our templates. We notice this occurs predominately with the 6x9 postcard template.

    This happens often enough to where we are hesitant to upgrade to the latest version of InDesign, as we are not having this issue with v19. We have tried remaking the template file, which did not fix the issue. Is this a known bug? What steps would be best for us to try next?

20. Adobe Indesign Ruler - Corrupt Display

    Adobe Indesign Ruler - Corrupt Display.
    When opening a document and mousing thru the document the display of the ruler starts to add "marks" in the measurements.
    We have been able to reproduce this in versions 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2018.
    We have gone and used the rename "enUS" method and it only works temporarily.
    The issue is sporadic and can happen on new documents or old.
    Also sporadic through out the versions as well - same document can happen on one version and not another version.
    All application updates have been applied as well as Mac OS updates for video drivers.
    Mulitple Mac OS being affected - 10.10, 10.11, 10.12, 10.13, and beta3 10.14

    Worked with Adobe Enterprise support and they have acknowledge it to be a bug in the user interface.
