13.1
Sometimes when I open a document that I've worked on, some frames (text or/and pictures) have moved 5 mm horizontally. Its random, not all pages but some. This is a great concern since we are doing 164 pages magazines for a client and we have to manually look through every page every time we open the magazine.

Text Frame Options, Baseline Options, First baseline, Offset setting not respected
InDesign is changing the Text Frame Options / First Baseline / Offset to the default on existing documents.
I open a document where nearly all my text boxes were set to "Cap Height" and they have all been turned to "Ascent" and now no longer fit in their text boxes. I have to open a Text Frame Options, click Baseline Options tab, and pull down the First Baseline, Offset to Cap height FOR EVERY PAGE, (after selecting all and changing to the direct selection tool)!5 votes -
Curves from Illustrator are straight lines in InDesign but fine when exported to PDF
I have a graphic that I've created in Illustrator that one of the curves displays as straight lines when viewed in InDesign. Export it to PDF and it displays as it should. The grey circle that this element sits on renders correctly in both. We have had this on files in the past. Any ideas?

ID becomes very unstable if you copy and paste text from one text box to

PDf
I have updated to OSX 10.14 and now my InDesign freezes when I export a PDF. iMac specs attached. I have to force quit the application each time. The strange thing is that even though the app has frozen and the background task shows the PDF as partially complete it seems the PDF is actually being fully created.

Publish Online Effects Not Displaying
I've published my document online, and when I do the image overlay isn't showing. It just shows my color block, but not the image below.
It displays properly in the thumbnail preview though. See attachment for behavior issues.
How do I resolve this?

eyedropper
The eyedropper suddenly stopped working correctly. See attached images to show which eyedropper options are selected and what the result is. The color should be a flat blue and instead a gradient effect is being applied. This is happening repeatedly throughout many charts within this document. I'm in InDesign CC and it's up to date. I just reset all of my preferences manually as the shortcut keys have never worked for me and my pages panel stopped working.

Placed type from Word comes in as 'none'
When I place text from a Word doc into my magazine template, the type comes in with the color 'none'. Even when I use a paragraph style that has black specified as the type color, it still stays as none. So I have to select all of the copy and manually change it to black. This doesn't seem to happen in other documents -- just my magazine template. I don't know how to fix it. Using latest version of ID.

Inconsistent unit names in Czech version
The "points" are called "body" in the Czech langauge., the short version is "b". Unfortunately Adobe CC apps are very inconsistent and you can find "b" (InDesign, Photoshop), "b." (InDesign) or even not translated "pt" (Illustrator).
Please make it consistent. If you can't change it in all Adobe apps, at least make it "b" in InDesign. (Adobe CS 6 is correct, line thickness is represented as "b" while CC displays "b.".

[CS6-CC2018][MAJOR BUG] Images upscaled in flattened PDF-files when placed over gradient
Hi,
With this post I would like to report a major bug in Indesign.
The problem occurs in these conditions:
- A gradient background
- On top of the background product images containing clipping masks / transparency. The images have insufficiënt resolution (105ppi).When creating a flattened PDF-file (1.3) using the default PDF export feature, and valid high resolution export presets, all images which have a resolution higher then 75ppi, are upscaled in the final PDF-file. Images which are 105 ppi, are suddenly 300ppi in the final PDF-file. Images which an effection resolution of 75 ppi, remain 75 ppi.

ADOBE INDESIGN AND ILLUSTRATOR COMPATABILITY ISSUE
In Adobe indesign, if we decreased Horizontal scale in Indesign and saving that template and generate PDF. If we open the same generated PDF in Adobe illustrator font size is decreasing and vertical scale is increasing and horizontal scale showing 100%. I think It's totally mis-matching with indesign and illustrator. Not only this we're facing many issues like this i.e resizing issue for example if label size is "50Wx100H" in indesign, same file showing in illustrator is 50Wx120H and some times more. Please help to fix this issue. It'll be helpful

typekit fonts missing but return when InDesign is restarted twice
InDesign CC 13.1 x64
This bug happens every time I open an InDesign file that has a typekit font (any typekit font)
The typekit font will show as active in my Creative Cloud assets panel. The expected result would be for the file to open with the fonts synced.
Actual result: InDesign tells me that the fonts are not synced. The only way to fix it is to close and open the entire program twice.
The third time the file is opened in the program, InDesign will show that the fonts are synced.
