Copying anchored object from one ID doc to another crashes ID 15.0 on WIN 10
An anchored object text frame, with content and formatting copied from one ID Doc to another, will crash ID (15.0 x64 WIN 10). Same action in ID (14.03) works perfectly.

We’ve concluded our investigation and came up with the finding : Either the issue is fixed in the latest release of InDesign or the issue was intermittent in nature at the time of its reporting and is not reproducible now.
We recommend you to upgrade to the latest version of InDesign 2020 (if you’re not already on it). It contains a lot of stability fixes.

When in text tool, command-a does not select all the Text in the Box, but all boxes on the page instead
When I am in text tool (and not just switched there but have been there for a longer time) and klick into a text box, and it CLEARLY has been selected and the curser is there, pressing command-a to select all the text in this box selects ALL the boxes on this page, even though the arrow has not been selected and the curser was already visible.
This happens so often that I am nearing madness with this bug. Is there a way to get this back to being normal again?

When working over VNC, often Tools cannot be chosen
When I connect to my Mac over macOS-VNC, I can use everything as needed. Unfortunately sometimes Indesign shows the hand and lets me use only the hand to move the page, although I clicked the Arrow e.g. and it is selected. I the cannot select Text, change sizes of boxes etc. The only remedy is to reconnect via VNC, but not every time that works. I do not have this with any other program than indesign, so I am starting my journey of finding the root of this here.

Open Type fractions create single digit numerators
When applying the Open Type fractions option to a text block, as in menu ingredients (see attached), the single numbers are changed into superscript numerators, as well as some punctuation (notice the comma).

Can't export page range as pdf
I'm unable to export a page range from InDesign as a PDF as I have done for decades. I get two options when I choose "range," "All" and "Letter V."
3 votesDid you try selecting (highlighting) “All Pages” and type whatever page range you want to export?
If you have alternate layouts and you want to export a range of pages from a particular alternate layout, say Letter V, you can also type the page range after putting a colon, like this: Letter V: 2-3.
This has been the case for many versions and has not changed.—

Updated to 2020, now fonts are not working
Okay, so apparently I have run into an issue, that many have experienced before me. After an update of InDesign, fonts are not working, although installed. And browsing through the forum, no solutions seems available even though this is months old problems. Yes, there are some work-arounds, which I tried out with on luck.

opens two documents
When i open a document a random second document opens, usually something i had been working on earlier. Double click file A and it opens, and then File Z opens as well without the command to do so

Table rows distribution
Hi,
I ask the question.
The table inserted in a text box does not allow me to generate lines that exceed the text box to continue in the box linked on the next page. How come?
And how come a row of the table must be fully visible only on 1 page and not break on several pages?Thank you

This issue is now fixed in the latest update (Id 14.0.1) of InDesign CC.
If you are unable to see the update notification yet, open the menu (three dots) from the top-right of Creative Cloud desktop application and click on ‘Check For App Updates’.Once the update button is shown against InDesign CC, click on the button to update your InDesign to Id 14.0.1 for the fix of the issue.

Thaana text properly composed in 14.0.3 messed after converting to 15.0
Weird changes in the text after converting file to 15.0. (Upon opening a file with Thaana text) see attached images.
Diacritics completely messed up AFTER recomposing (change alignment or reapply World-Ready composer) See attached images.
Cannot use double/triple-clicking to select text composed in the new composer. (can select paragraphs already composed in the previous version, if no changes are made to that paragraph.)
To see it in a new document: create a new document, copy and paste Thaana text (ex: Dhivehi Wikipedia), apply World-Ready composer.

None Master issue
I don't understand how the None Master works. If I create a document with no margin and no columns, then go to the A Master and add margin and columns, sometimes the None Master will delete the margins and columns, and sometimes it seems to adopt the margins and columns from the A Master.
I would recommend that the None Master ALWAYS delete all the columns and margins so it's a blank page. Or at least consistently return to the columns and margins of the A Master, but blank would be better.

No more videos from URL links
Why can't I insert videos via URL link anymore? Why take steps backwards? It was a great feature. VERY disappointed this was removed . PLEASE put this back. Would like interactivity to have all the features it once had

paper swatch tint
There is strange bug at the paper swatch.
The tint of the paper swatch should not be customizable, but it can happen.Try this in the latest Indesign:
- Make a shape.
- Give it a swatch, a cmyk one which you can delete.
- Set the tint on 25%
- Than delete the swatch from the list - and let the paper swatch replace it when you delete it.
- The paper swatch takes over the 25% (though it isn't changeable after it)When you change this CMYK-swatch to the paper swatch instead of delete it, the tint jumps…

file size 2020
Hi all, we have 2 issues that could do with some input.
on certain files exported from Indesign 2020 (15.0.2) to IDML, soft carriage returns are being added throughout our documents, it didn't do it from 2019?
On the Macs the Indesign 2020 file sizes seem to be at least 30% bigger than saving from 2019 (14.0.3) and different again if we save the same file from the Windows 10 versions. Is anyone else finding this?

The Myriad Variable Concept typefaces do not print with InDesign.
I have used various Myriad Variable Concept weights/widths and they do not print. They do, however, with Illustrator. Version 15.0.1

Too Many Text Frames
When my primary text reflows, it adds more textboxes than I need and creates them in every column of my page. All of these additional text frames are blank and I have not added additional returns or spaces.

Links are not displayed
Although all my images and graphics are linked correctly and there are no errors, when opening a file, they are appearing as grey boxes. Some images are working but most of them are not. Also PDF export is therefore not working (error message attached). It doesn't matter which file type my links are as it's happening to all kinds of them (mostly TIFF and AI). Perhaps worth mentioning that this problem didn't occur in ID2019.

Still working on Mojave 10.14.6, but using Indesign 2020.
(iMac Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017, iMac18.3, Intel Core i5, 16GB 2400MHz DDR4)

Possible memory leak: when using Hungarian keyboard and typing, after some time Ctrl-Alt-X inserts # instead of non-breaking space.
