Hold Alt when dragging from Bridge/Explorer/Finder to pop the 'Import options' dialogue for that file placement
QoL improvement - would allow you to skip using the menu interface when you just want to set PDFs/AI to include bleed or not - or when you want a specific page or layer from a paginated or layer file type.

merge text frames
When copying data from other inDesign files into a new InDesign file, I always end up with multiple text frames, most of them empty, because it creates a new text frame every time, stacked on top of the empty one that was already there. It's very frustrating and has been a talked-about issue for a while (based on my Google searches.) Please, add a Merge Text Frames option to the menu. None of the scripts I've used have worked. Adding a dedicated Opentype window to InDesign, as is available in Illustrator (Alt + Shift + Ctrl/Cmd + T)
I think it would be extremely helpful to add a dedicated Opentype window to InDesign, as is available in Illustrator.
Changing more than one setting for a typeface - for example, removing ligatures and then enabling tabular lining - requires more than one navigation through the sub-menu within Character/Paragraph.
It seems strange that this is not a standard window in InDesign when it is in Illustrator, being that InDesign is the standard application for creating text-heavy page layouts.

Share for Review comments link to incorrect spreads on web viewer after reordering pages in InDesign
I am using the new Share for Review feature to get feedback on a 100+ page document I am working on. Previously I tested reordering pages on a small document, and all comments and pins stayed attached to the page they were originally placed on, even when its page number changed.
However, after adding some pages to this larger document, I'm running into a problem where the comments are pinned to the correct page inside Indesign, but the wrong one in the web viewer. On the web, it seems to ignore the added pages and goes by…

Please develop a way to select multiple object or images across multiple spreads. I have a 300+ page document that needs all images nudged slightly up or down.

Different layers for each page in a document
Each page in a document can have different layers. When producing artwork for personalised print items (like mailers) it would be good for each version (page) to have it's own variable layers to avoid having lots of layers that could lead to data being omitted if layer turned off

Duplicate Spread n times
In some occasions, I use InDesign to collect Photoshop or Illustrator artwork.
In that case, I create a page with a Rectangle Frame, Auto-Fit checked.
When I need e.g. 20 of these, I have to duplicate many times 1-2-4-8-16 etc.

Gutter control on spreads for facing-pages layout that require bleed on the inside edges
There are several requests for this that don't use correct terminology, so I'm going to add this one to hopefully consolidate votes on this long overdue feature. When working on facing-page projects that are not bound with glue, it is imperative that graphics and color that goes to the inside edge have bleed into the gutter. There is no gutter bleed support for parent pages in InDesign, requiring us to create two spreads with bleed across the gutter from either side to support pages that need that gutter bleed on export. Allow to enter individual object size when multiple objects are selected
When multiple objects are selected InDesign shows the total width and height of the whole selection. I'd want to be able to enter the width and height of each individual box.

Better Master Pages Concept
if a page is based on a mater page it seems likely that users will want to selectively turn on or off the visibility on a page to page basis.
currently in 13.1 x64 Indesign lets you choose none as an option on a page level of granularity
it would be better if the master page elements had their own layer in the page layers panel and each sub element that is on the master page had an eyeball icon to selectively turn on and off the visibility at the page being viewed.

Be able to export pdfs by sections and using section markers as pdf file names.

Page naming and exporting separate pages with it names as a sufix.
A above. I'd like to be able to name the pages separately and tick an option to use this names as sufixes when exporting separate pages (tiffs, jpgs, pngs, etc.).

Import pdf-comments: not possible to locate notes on the page
If I Import PDF-Comments the included notes are in the comments, but I cannot locate them on the page. I don't know to which element the note is belonging.

Fixing what was not broken?
Swatches Window:
There is space at the bottom of the swatches menu to have buttons for the swatch types rather than grouping them into drop down menu. It takes more clicks and mousing around than it did in CS versions...Same goes for Rotating spreads. I need to do this often - It used to be in the root of the pages menu, now it's nested under page attributes. Less efficient...
