  1. Document title field doesn't handle pasted content that includes paragraph characters.

    In the File Information window: If you paste a document title into the Document title field (that includes a return character) it messes with the title field. Maybe you could add scroll bars to solve this…

  2. Rendering problems on second monitor

    Just updated to Illustrator 16.2.1 and discovered a bug I didn't have last week. This is reproducible even over a restart. What I'm doing: opening two documents and moving one to a second monitor to compare the layouts. MacBook Pro 2.4GHz Core i9 Radeon Pro 560X 4GB, Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536MB. When I move a window to the second monitor (the Intel card), the display first is very large (one page, as opposed to spread view). Then as soon as I scroll, the content rendering gets corrupted.   3. Links appears OK but doesn't work when exporting in pdf

    Using Indesign 2023 18.0 on macOs Ventura 13.6

    I have my portfolio file correctly packed and well organized, everytime i open my idml file to make modifications, the link panel appears all OK but i cannot export because of this same links.
    I found a solution is to re-import every files one by one, but i cannot do this anymore, it's too long and this need to be fixed.

  4. Option-Click/Drag to duplicate spread does not work anymore with MacOS 11.0.1 update

    1. InDesign 15.1.3
    2. To Duplicate Spreads in Pages Panel — Option-Click/Drag to duplicate spread does not work anymore with MacOS 11.0.1 update. It used to with previous MacOS.
    3. Expected Result: the grab hand would have a plus sign, then duplicate spread.
    4. Actual Result: The grab hand operates as "Move" not "Duplicate".

    Right/Click Duplicate does, however (but who has that much time? : )

  5. WordsFlow

    When deciding against using WordsFlow plugin by EmSoftware, not renewing from trial license, it continued not only to be on the main FILE menu but it also is preventing normal (InDesign) placing of graphic files into InDesign files by a popup window asking for license renewal information. If I cancel that window, it cancels the PLACE... operation. In other words, WordsFlow does not extricate itself from the program even if no longer using and registered AND after uninstalling from the Windows APP utility, BUT it continues to interfere with normal InDesign operation.

  6. Small arrows to adjust the coordinates

    I love the new "Properties" window that adjusts automatically. But I really miss the little arrows next to the x/y coordinates and width/height to be able to adjust the values. Please add them back! :-)

  7. Adobe InDesign 2020 - All text in my Indesign file that contains hyperlinks disappear

    (cont.) even though the hyperlinks panel show the links themselves the text is gone and I can't get it back. Hours of work is gone.

    I first started seeing the text is pushed together in the epubs I would export, especially moreso on the words with hyperlinks. After fixing a few things I export another epub and it is completely gone and it is also gone in the indd and idml files.

  8. First baseline offset not being applied

    More than half the time that I try to change the First Baseline Offset in the Text Frame Options panel, the default setting (Ascent) will not change. When I select a different option from the drop-down menu, such as Leading, Ascent stays selected (before I'm even given the chance to click "OK" or "Cancel"). The only solution I've found to this problem is quitting InDesign and reopening it again and again.

  9. Text options greyed out when I select more than one box that are linked.

    Text options greyed out when I select more than one box that are linked using selection tool. For example I want to select 3 linked text boxes and change the text colour. The [T] button in the colours panel is greyed out. So is font, etc. Means that I have go into each box and select the text requires extra click. Did not use to be this way in CC2019. Please fix.

  10. Keyboard shortcuts to change case not working on Windows

    Keyboard shortcuts to change case of lines of text is no longer working. Apart from Alt-T to get up the text menu, I'm now having to use the mouse to select the further options to change to Title case. The sequence Alt-T-E-T, no longer works. As I frequently have many entries which need unifying each time I use it, this once useful feature is sorely missing. Please can you fix it Adobe?

  11. InDesign Buttons in Interactive PDF Not Receiving Visible Focus When Tabbing

    Product and Version: Adobe InDesign 20.3 (2025) & Acrobat Pro 2025.001

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Create a Button in InDesign using Buttons and Forms panel.
    2. Assign an action like "Go to Next Page" with event "On Release or Tap."
    3. Export as Interactive PDF with "Create Tagged PDF" and "Use Structure for Tab Order" enabled.
    4. Open in Acrobat.
    5. Tab through the document.

    Expected result: Button should show visible focus indicator when selected by keyboard tabbing, to meet WCAG 2.4.7 Focus Visible.

    Actual result: Button can be activated by Enter but shows no visible focus indicator. Rollover and Click states do not…

  12. share for review completely broken in ID and online

    Share for review is completely useless and does not work in the latest release on osX Tahoe. I can see the comments from clients listed in the panel, however they are not marked in the document and when clicked on them it does not show you where. So i have to open the comments in a browser (and its buggy even there!!!) and locate the reviews manuall.y. Also, when i update documents (also in AI), i always get a red popup saying that the file update has failed (although it does not fail and the changes are updated).…

    Linked PDF causing exported PDF File to not show embedded information, with pop-up showing "An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem

  14. InDesign hangs for minutes when I/O for Document fonts is slow

    Using version 18.2.1 and opening a document that has an associated "Document fonts" folder alongside, the app performs a lot of I/O on the main thread. If the fonts are on slower storage, the app will open the document, but the window is completely frozen, since all those I/O calls are performed on the main thread.

    Note the attached traces: some calls are even performed twice for the same file. Can the CT calls be moved off the main thread?

  15. CC Libraries placing permission error

    Indesign Version 16.1
    Mac OS 10.14

    Indesign doesn´t let me place graphics (testet JPG, PSD, PDF files) trough the CC Libraries panel. I can open/edit them, via double click, in Photoshop/Acrobat/Illustrator though.

    I tested this with older libraries I already had a few versions of Indesign before. I also testet this with a library I just created. Still the same error .

  16. Adobe Fonts wont load

    Hello,

    While creating a document I was trying to discover a new font. I clicked Fonts > Find More and where a list of adobe fonts usually pops up, I got nothing. I tried creating a new text box, signing in and out of adobe, and closing / opening the document.

    Attached please find a screen grab of the issue.

    I'd love an assist if possible.

  17. Add pins from Indesign to be shared for review

    While editing a file in InDesign, I have many ideas or questions to submit to the reviewers audience.
    However, I need to wait for all my edition work to be completed and shared for review online before being able to add pins and other comments. This is cognitively quite expensive, and it's not efficient overall.
    I wish I could add pins and comments right from InDesign (= new items in the Verify panel), to be published with the next "Share for Review" push.

  18. locked layers are invisible

    I have an issue with locked layers: they are invisible in the layer-panel. I can only see them in the layout-view. I cannot edit, delete or unlock them. I can only make them invisible by disabling the "eye".
    This happend to a file that was packed about 2 years ago. Unfortunately, even the IDML-File can't be edited. What's wrong?

  19. Allow InDesign to retain local formatting when updating linked text files.

    When using linked text files in InDesign, any local formatting changes made directly in InDesign (such as font size, color, bold/italic, etc.) are lost when the external text file is updated. This is a significant limitation for designers who need to maintain complex formatting in layouts. Please add an option to retain local formatting when linked text files are updated.

    Suggestion:
    “Preserve Local Formatting” in the Links panel or File Handling preferences.

  20. UI Interface Overlapping

    Adobe Indesign 20.0

    Reproduction: Opening InDesign or working on a file with extensive links

    Expected Result: UI elements act as intended and do not overlap other portions of the interface, does not interfere with workflow

    Actual Result: Portions of the UI are unusable due to overlapping and cannot see the last few links in the Links panel

    First noticed this error on 10/16/2024 after updating InDesign the day prior
