Drawing a line with a 0 pt stroke and changing its length triggers the error "Cannot set stroke box."

  1. Version of Adobe InDesign, InCopy or InDesign Server
    Windows 10; Japanese-language Adobe InDesign, from a version of InDesign CC 2025 (20.3.2–20.5.1?) up to CC 2026 (21.3, latest).

  2. Steps to reproduce the issues
    Draw a path with the Line Tool or Pen Tool using a stroke weight of 0 pt, then change the path length by entering a numeric value.

  3. Expected result
    The length should change.

  4. Actual result
    An error appears: "Cannot set stroke box."

    Both have just been reinstalled.

    An alert was displayed, and the path length could not be changed.
