Unable to move any layers with mouse
All layers are unable to move by clicking & dragging with mouse. When trying to drag, a red circle with a cross appears. Only way to move any layers is by nudging with keyboard. *All layers are unlocked

curser blink affecting whole screen
Not an idea, however when the curser blinks, it's affecting the whole screen - very subtle, but on larger monitors is extremely noticeable.

Copying text frames results in pasted PDF
Copying text frames from older versions of InDesign (example 2022 to 2025 – v.20.1) results in a pdf frame, meaning the text is uneditable. The only workaround I have discovered is to copy the text itself, paste it into the new document, and reformat the frame. I believe the discussion posted here - https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign-discussions/indesign-locking-text-frames-with-old-id-files/m-p/15147987 – is referring to the same issue.

[ID-4260027] “Change Case” option does not refresh when opening saved search
“Change Case” option does not refresh when opening saved search
When a “Change Case” option is set on the GREP tab of the Find/Change dialog, it remains active until it is manually cleared or InDesign is restarted. This is a problem since it means that saved searches are producing unexpected results. Other options in the “change format” refresh as expected, so this appears to be a bug. It is especially problematic when running a chain of GREP searches because incorrect capitalization can result in numerous errors.1 vote -
InDesign 2024 (Mac) crash on quit
Almost every time I quit InDesign 2024 (19.5.1), I get a crash report. I ve tried re-installing and deleted the preference files. No dice.
I have no files open when I quit the application.Submitting the crash report.
1 voteWe have released InDesign 2025(v20.2.0.036) with many stability fixes. We recommend you upgrade to the latest version (if you’re not already on it) as it is more robust.

[ID-4260022][ExtendScript] Folder.prototype.create fails on macOS/InDesign 20.1
Something has broken in ExtendScript's Folder.prototype.create method on MacOS and Indesign 20.1.
To test yourself, save the following script to your disk, and run it in Indesign.

If the Paragraph Styles palette is on the secondary monitor, then can not possible to reorder styles names with drag up or down in the list.

[ID-4259937][Document Specific] InDesign and InDesign Server go into infinite recompose
The attached IDML file is a minimized test case for an infinite recompose loop. To start the loop, open the document in an InDesign client and select the gray text frame and turn off its text wrap property. To stop the loop, select Undo or close the document.
The test case is taken from a real-world IDS incident where this loop monopolized the IDS process for several minutes until our watchdog killed it.
(Reproduced with Adobe Indesign CC 2025 v20.1.0.71 running on MacBook Pro M3 / macOS 15.2.)

InDesign 20.1 Save & SaveAs opens files in last used folder, not containing folder
Sonoma 14.4 & Apple M3 Max Chip - Whenever I work in files and try to save or SaveAs, it'll open in the last used folder in my computer. I have the manually find the folder I'm working from every time. This has been an issue since upgrading to this machine. I have a lot of weird bugs on this machine w/ Adobe Products...

The Review feature is incredibly buggy. When I open up my .indd to edit from the clients edits, I have the REVIEW window open on the right as I edit on the left. 1. the minute I delete within the highlighted area, the comment/edit immediately zooms away. This is so frustrating. Spelling errors cannot be corrected if the yellow highlight is on...you have to choose a letter replacement from a dropdown. So bizarre. And this is the MOST irritating...Why can't I just see a list of Unresolved comments with NOTHING ELSE? The screen is constantly over-populated with vintage comments that…

Rounded corners on rectangle get rounder every time the rectangle is clicked into
Sometimes when I click into and out of a rectangle, or click and move the rectangle, the rounded corner value goes up from 0.0625 to .1667. I am using about 30 identically sized rectangles on the page, and I would like them to have identically rounded corners.

Font IBM Plex Sans - Bold Variation not showing
Bold / Bold Italic not showing up in InDesign (even after deinstalling and reinstalling), even though it has been installed, it is available in Illustrator though, also IBM Plex Sans - Regular can't be displayed by Acrobat Reader

Handle sizes
The connection point sizes for Single field selection and Double field selection are different.
The dimensions also differ between the Black arrow selection and the White arrow selection.
Occurred after applying "User Interface Scaling".

In Adobe InDesign's Character Pallet, I cannot adjust the tracking by increments of one when clicking on the the arrows. I use to be able to just yesterday and now I can't today. How could that be? Did I click something or accidentally press a hot key?

Multi-Lingual Data Handling
This is a suggestion for a new feature for people using InDesign for multilingual purposes.
In India, we may need to use 3 languages at the same time, for example, in addition to English, we may need to use the national language Hindi and the regional language Malayalam, Tamil or some other language. In other countries, sometimes even more.
When we try to make changes to a paragraph or chapter using different fonts in different languages, we often have to select and change even one letter to change the font in each language. This greatly reduces the joy of using…

It's not possible to look for tables using the GREP tab
In the Text tab you can look for <0017> and find the tables in the active document (or selected story).
But it's not possible to look for tables using the GREP tab. Looking for \x{0017} or \x17 doesn't match anything.
Step to reproduce:
1. Create a new document, place a text frame, and add a table.
2. Open the Find/Change window, activate the GREP tab.
3. Run this GREP query: \x{0017}
4. Then try this one: \x17Expected result: both queries found the table.
Actual result: InDesign reports that nothing was found.

The GREP character . (dot) does not match after footnote markers
The GREP character . (dot) does not match after footnote markers. In this text (where [1] is a footnote marker):
Footnotes are so called[1] because they are at the foot of the page.
The GREP expression to match a whole paragraph matches up to and including the footnote marker, but not after.
Steps to reproduce:
- Run this GREP query (I can't attach .indd, .idml, or .zip files, so you'll have to create your own document):

Expected result:
The whole paragraph should be matched.

Error en la herramienta Cuentagotas
No funciona bien la herramienta, cada vez que intento cargar algún objeto o texto para aplicar color, trazo o fuente, no aplica lo seleccionado, sino un trazo, tamaño y color diferente (siempre el mismo)
