1. [ CC-2019 and 2020 ] The Convert-Endnotes-To-Footnotes Disaster SCOPE: SELECTION

   Hi together,
   I'm using the menu dialog, not the context menu, for converting endnotes to footnotes. Scope: Selection

   The result is not as expected.

   3 out of 7 endnotes were not converted to footnotes.
   1 additionally was converted, but the corresponding endnote was not removed.

   Trying again with a different selection of the remaining endnote texts:
   Now the first endnote could be converted, I assume because I selected all the endnote text. However the remaining endnotes couldn't be converted.

4. Loss off links everytime i open indesigndocument. No movement of folders. Drives me crazy to re-link everytime

5. Objects can't be moved with the mouse cursor

   It's not possible to move objects with the mouse cursor, only by keyboard. (on windows 11pro) Thank you for helping soon.

6. [ID-4219711] Defining a stroke beginning with a gap does not work

   If you define a stroke you can set the length of the first stroke to zero. But as you can see in the screenshot there is still some stroke visible.

   Best solution: Make a "zero stroke" possible, a stroke which starts with a gap.

   Second best solution: Change the minimum in the "length"-field to something > 0.

7. Can not start InDesign 2020

   InDesign CC2020 15.0.1 is not running on iMac 27-inch, 2017, MacOS Catalina Version 10.15.3
   When I try to start InDesign, nothing happens.
   In the "Activity Display" of Mac OS, InDesign appears marked in red and cannot be restarted or stopped there, I have to force to quit and to wait some time until InDesign is finished.

   Maybe it has a connection to the following: Photoshop works, but it needs to be terminated with force to quit via the "Activity Display" of Mac OS.

   When trying to input a specific value for any number field, it's just white and won't reflect anything I type or reflect the change when I hit return.

9. Endnote references are not importing when placing word documents

   I am placing a word 365 document into InDesign 2020 with endnotes ticked to be included and the endnote references are not importing. In the past the endnote references will display in-text and a full endnote reference list will display on the last page in one text box. I have tried using 2018/2019 with the same result. This appears to be a new bug. I have attached screenshots of the Word document with endnotes displayed and the InDesign document after placing the same word document which shows the endnotes have not been imported. Also an anchored text box is also displayed in place of the first endnote reference. The text displayed in the box is not the endnote reference text.

10. Double Fonts are appearing in the find fonts pannel

    Opening a CC18 Indesign File into CC19 only to convert in the latest version as per client request.

    After opening, some fonts are appearing as double in the fonts pannel, within the same text box and with same info.

11. InDesign "hangs" when exporting to InCopy:

    MAC, OS 15.10.3, InDesign 2020:
    Problems exported via InCopy (hangs and hangs and sometimes crashes) YES I have updated InCopy too. InDesign will no longer export IDML files (could this be due to no longer available to open in CS6?)

    Unfortunately, I am the only person who has upgraded to Catalina.

    Id this an Adobe fix or an Apple OS fix?

12. InDesign tries to display interactive help while a script is running

    I've done a fresh install of InDesign and I run a (lengthy) script. InDesign is trying to display some interactive help (and failing to do so) while the script is running.

    Interactive help must be suppressed during script execution!

    The empty help frame stays visible while the script is running.

    This is on Windows 10x64 with InDesign 2020 15.0.1

13. Linked in file not showing missing font error

    I have designed several booklets for a customer each targeting a specific audience. Some of these pages are the same like this back cover file which I have made using inDesign and is placed as the last page of all the booklets. When I make a print layout setting up the pages [12/1] [2/11] ... to print as a booklet I place all the pages from the indesign file for each book. This means that my print file references a design file which references a variety of pages and fliers of pdf, ai and indd types. I recently had some upgrades at work which turned off all the fonts managed on a server. Looking at the preview of my print layout file it was obvious that I was needing to activate a font, but inDesign says nothing was missing. I had to open the back cover page file itself before inDesign recognized there was a font problem. This is a very dangerous omission considering if I get in files from a client to print I might not need or want to open their single page originals, but just place them in the order needed to be printed as booklets.

    To identify the cause of this issue, we had started our investigation with the aim to resolve it. You might have also received an email from us seeking more details to help in our investigation.

    We’ve concluded our investigation and came up with the finding: Either the issue is fixed in the latest release of InDesign or the issue was intermittent in nature at the time of its reporting and is not reproducible now.

    We recommend you to upgrade to the latest version of InDesign 2020 (if you’re not already on it). It contains a lot of stability fixes.

16. cross-reference

    If a paragraph selected as a cross-reference spans two pages (e.g. a header that spans two pages), the generated cross-reference links to the second page in the pdf. This behavior seems incorrect. The cross-reference should link to the beginning of the paragraph.

18. Bad interact: Keep Lines Together & Start Paragraph in Next Frame, not working at Threaded Auto-Size (height) Text Frames

    Working on InDesign CC2018 in Windows7.
    When having threaded two (or more) auto-sizing (height only) text frames, and typing in the first of them, at the end of first line the cursor jumps to the next frame. No auto-size, no keeping lines of the paragraph together.

19. Copy & paste from 2020 to 2018 doesn't work

    Made a table in 2018, saved the INDD, then open in 2020, changed only text in the table, now want to copy & paste back to 2018 file -> not possible. It's exactly the same table. When pasting to pasteboard, the table rows look the same, only the style color has changed.

20. 60 Noto (foreign) fonts showing up in middle of drop down font listing.

    I have recently upgraded to Adobe CC 2020, and also upgraded to Mac OS Catalina. when I open my font drop down menu I expect to see all of the 'foreign' (non english) fonts at the bottom of the list. Instead, there is a font 'Noto' with 60 font families in the menu. I've checked in 'Font Book' on my mac, and that font is NOT listed as an 'english' font, so I assume it SHOULD go to the bottom of the menu. These fonts show up in the middle of font listing of other CC programs as well (Photoshop and Illustrator)
