EPUB – Endnote backlink issues for INDB files
When exporting EPUB 3.0 (and 2.01) from an InDesign(2022, version 17.4) book file, endnotes only link in the first chapter where they are found. Subsequent chapters reveal <a> tags with empty href attributes.
Backlinks are required by virtually all ebook publishers. For academic books, endnotes are essential and the request for EPUB formats is only increasing.So far Adobe Car's response: "Currently, we do not have a workaround for this issue other than creating a single document instead of book or manually modifying backlink in the exported EPUB file." This isn't acceptable or even always possible.
5 votesFix for this issue is now available in the latest release of InDesign 2023 - that is, InDesign 18.1 version.
Please update to this version of InDesign to get the fix.

split layout view, copy, paste, undo, paste without formatting, crash
Reproducable crash in InDesign when working in split layout view.
1) move to split layout view
2) copy text from right window
3) Ctrl V in left window
4) Ctrl Z to undo
5) Ctrl-Shift V to paste without formatting
6) crash (the expected result here obviously being InDesign not crashing but pasting the text without formatting).Filed multiple reports from these crashes.

Unable to resize textbox from bottom
The Open Type option prevents us to resize the box from the bottom, which is annoying. Please move it slightly off-center. Thank you.

Bottom toolbar/scroll bar dissapears when in fullscreen mode
At first i thought it was my monitors, but it also does it when I have InDesign open on my laptop. I'm running the latest Microsoft update, and when I select Fullscreen on the InDesign window, the bottom bar disappears, so I'm unable to use the bottom scrollbar. It only re-appears when i minimize the window

Ventura Indesign file not found
I have a number of files when I double click them to open, I get an error saying "<file name> not found. If I make a copy of the file, I can then open it. I don't know it that's an InDesign issue or a Ventura issue.
Running an Apple M1 Max, with Ventura 13.2.1, and Indesign 18.1

PDF Export sous Indesign 2023
avec la nouvelle version 2023, impossible de faire des PDF ou TRES TRES LONG à faire même des Basses définitions.
les tâches en arrière plan (copie d'écran jointe) mouline pendant des minutes et des minutes, les polices et le fichier restent "en file d'attente".

InDesign 18.0 (2023): still having issue where certain weights of fonts won't load/work (other weights/styles in the family do work).
The only way I've been able to solve this is to revert to version 17.1 (had same issue with 17.2).

InDesign 2023 18.0 x64 with too much CPU in idle
InDesign 2023 18.0 x64 is consuming too much CPU in idle, without any file open.
System: Windows 10 Pro 2H22 x64, SO 19045.2130, Workstation Dell Precision Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2603 v2 @ 1.80GHz, 16 GB RAM.

paragraph style options "Bullet or Number position"
Hello,
I am contacting you regarding a problem with the new version of InDesigns’ (version 18.0).
The problem is that using the "Bullet or Number position" in “Paragraph style options” to change the size of a column in a table, results in the text disappearing.Please check out the PDF and the video (in comment) below for further explanations.

Une integration du PDF comme pour Adobe Illustrator
Je me demande pourquoi la lecture PDF peut être faite à partir d'un fichier AI, alors que ce n'est pas le cas sur indesign. ce serait pratique pour le travail à distance. il faut que le fichier PDF soit à jour, alors que le fichier indesign a pu évoluer.

Indesign quits after mac goes to sleep
Have to open In-Design (18.1) again (not sure if it's an actual crash) after the Mac (mini - Ventura (13.2.1) goes to sleep after an hour. Other Adobe programs don't do this.
Upon opening InDesign, it won't automatically open the Properties and Tool floating pallets even though it is marked to open under the Window drop down menu and that I've set it up that way before opening or creating a new file. The other floating pallets selected will show.

日本語縦組みの後注で、欧文が意図せずに回転してしまいます。正常に表示されていても、いつのまにか回転しています。また、スクリーンには正常に表示されていても、PDFに書き出すと回転していることが多々あります。

For some reason, Liza Cap Pro is not loading - it is showing it is active, but not showing as a valid font. Please help.

dropped math characters in imported eps files
InDesign CC 18.1 x64 sometimes drops characters in math imported as EPS files on export to PDF. This is similar to an earlier problem that appeared after an update when none of the EPS files would print. This problem seems to correct itself when the file is re-exported, but not always. Editing the imported EPS with MathType also seems to correct it. The file missing characters and the correct file are uploaded for comparison.

"Paste into" not working in Layout Split View
When the layout view is split and you copy something and try to "Paste into", the option doesn't appear. You have to exit split view and toggle it again so it works.

The pantone solid color books are missing with the latest 18.1 update. I have to use Indesign 2021 version now to do my work. Please fix!
please add back the pantone solid color books to indesign. It's the most needed pantone set and I can't use Indesign 2022 until this is fixed.
